I love luring unsuspecting dots into our traps. People absolutely do not check for crew tags. I laugh because our one rule is don't kill crew, but the second somebody climbs in my personal vehicle, it's "Stout he actually got in the car! RPG! RPG! RPG!"

And that's why there were so many technical difficulties. I can't have a going away party. I may have a shiny new toy, but the jester of Los Santos ain't going anywhere. There are far too many Zentornos left to blow up.

We gotta figure this shit out. The town suffers without its mayor to guide it. I really need to Google this shit. Clear your cache? Redownload something? Hell, I dunno.

 

Troubleshooting experts: Melraz can do missions, races, whatever, with a little trouble, but not much. Typical trouble. He cannot stay in a Freemode public room more than about a couple of minutes, tops, before being booted out. I could understand if neither worked, but why does one part work and the other doesn't?

 

More when I don't have to work 12-hour days, but Robert and I got into the stupidest, craziest firefight I've been in the whole time I've been playing this game. I know at least nine people, including us, were involved at one point, but the total may have been larger than that.

 

EDIT: I did feel legitimately sorry for El Dragon, because by this point with the Horsemen, we have devolved/evolved into one gigantic, neverending inside joke.

I tried to explain that shit to Dragon, but it's probably more of a you had to be there thing. 

 

First room last night was a bunch of terrible guys.  Don't think I've ever gone psycho faster than that. 

 

Last room was a giant, chaotic mess.  We were in this continuous firefight east of the mall.  I counted 9 that one time, but I think there must've been 15-20 all told, since people kept coming and leaving.  We were the last people standing after it was all over.

 

Early highlight was being challenged to a one on one deathmatch by a level 3.  Poor little fella tried to hide in a gas station before the final kill.

*chuckles* no problem guys, still had a blast... I might have to apologize for my raving insanity during the last couple missions. When I'm without sleep, sanity is not a strong suit.

Still no luck with gettin online. My new theory is that last time online worked one of rockstars workers was online and he got shit stomped and butt hurt and in turn blocked me from gta online. Thats my theory and imma stickin to it. Loaded up my profile and did some single player. Got all the sub parts and about half of the nuclear waste. While huntin sub parts i saw a red dot. Ill help that person i thought, stopped the boat and it was a dalm shark. Learned to look for red dots before diving in the water at least. Saw one near a sub part and shot that bastard, dove in got the part and headed back towards the boat when i see another red dot. I have my huntin knife in hand and see the boat is to far so imma hafta take this bitch on. It comes at me and i slash slash slash. It passes circles and comes back stab stab stab and that fucker sinks to the bottom of the ocean floor. Luckily thats the only one i saw while collecting pieces.

1. Can you do missions and races and whatnot with randoms, or only us?

2. Can you be in an invite-only or crew-only room with ANYONE else? Any one of us would do, but I'd really love it if a random could be conned into helping.

3, What happens when this happens to you? You say you go through the floor most times, then does it say "Connection has timed out, returning you to GTA 5"? What does it say?

Yeah man i can do missions with randoms all day. I havent tried a private session with anybody else. When i get in freemode it says somethin about session failed due to an unknown network error please return to gtav and try again later

I'm furiously Googling the problem as we speak. Try two things one of these days before we have to roll out the big guns:

 

1. Try clearing that system cache.

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the lastest update patch. Here's how to delete it:

Then go the XBox store and "re-buy" it. It's free.

 

If that doesn't work, it's a problem with your modem or DNS settings, most likely. Have you or the wife ever tinkered with the modem/router's internal settings?

I did a lil bit to get the ps3 to work but have played gta a bunch since then. Im gonna get back in it tonight and check it out when i get home from work. I might jump on the ps3 and see if i can play on it

Im purdy dalm dumb when it comes to that shit. My nat type might not be 2 or ports open or blah blah i dont know its Chinese to me mane

In that case, I suggest fixing the router the same way I did my old one.  I used my Winchester 1300 Defender, but I'm sure you can find a similarly useful tool for the job.
