smitlick Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I'd like to believe Nate can win but does he really have any chance of defending the takedown?
Zero Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 I'd like to believe Nate can win but does he really have any chance of defending the takedown? Does Gray even go for take downs anymore? I can't remember the last time.
epwar Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 This is the first season of TUF where I don't know who is who in the finalists.

The Natural Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Both Maynard and Nate fighting for the first time since TKO stoppages, right?
epwar Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 That is correct. This is the the first TUF to have someone in the finals who has a 1-3 pro record (Rakoczy). If that isn't a sign this show needs to die, I don't know what is. 1

If that isn't a sign this show needs to die, I don't know what is. She is a former boxing champ who was fighting girls who she wasn't suppose to be fighting w/ zero experience training MMA. That would be a serious impediment to anyone's win-loss record.
DreamBroken Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Actually watched the entire TUF season, first I've watched any of since whichever one Bisping was on, and really enjoyed it. Jessamyn Duke was my favorite going in and loved her on the show, glad to see her get a fight on the main card still. Finals should be good.
WholeFnMachine Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 It really says something that other than the two dudes who are in the Finals none of the other guys are fighting meanwhile there are two additional women's bouts and would have been three if the remaining two women weren't hurt. They ladies were the best part of this season, both in & out of the cage. Really hoping Rakozy wins, I hate this crybaby victim bullshit Pena pulled all season and in her blog on MMAfighting.com. Poor baby who received obvious special attention the whole season from her buddies Tate & Carraway. I hope Rakozy separates her from consciousness. Duke vs. Morgan should be a nice brawl and I'm happy Roxanne is getting a shot in the UFC. 1
SturmCRF Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 "Get used to wiping your ass with the other hand, you fucking cunt". I genuinely fail to understand how anyone can not love Ronda Rousey, she breaks all the arms and she's a wordsmith. 4
epwar Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Nice to see there is absolutely zero consistency between refs in UFC bouts. Blanco/Corassani ended the same way as Guillard/Pearson but was ruled a win for Corassani by DQ.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Corassani being all "what happened?" "an illegal knee" and then rolling around and saying he couldn't see and all that was hilarious.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 These women fighters are dog shit. Two awful fights in a row
Antacular Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 It's hard to watch them. Really come across as amateurs.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Yeah, he was way late on that one. 1
Elsalvajeloco Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 If the main event ends in a decision, then this will be the worst KO of the Night winner in UFC history. Unless, there was a sucky one in 2006 when they first started doing it.
Zero Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I thought the Pena stoppage was fine. This Women's MMA sure is great huh? Out of the top 5 maybe it get's really really bad. Horrible card basically start to almost end. DIAZ BABY 209 209 . THAT WAS BRUTALLLLLLLL
epwar Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Yves got beef with Maynard or something? And I loved Yves helping Nate stand up and not attending to Gray in the least.
Elsalvajeloco Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 @carletoncurtis: TUF 18 Finale on @FOXSports1 = 1,129,000 viewers. Prelims = 938K. #Ratings That's a good sign given the card quality. 2
