Don't be so sure - Austin did stuff like this all the time back then. I don't think anyone is saying it was a good idea or made sense, but it's pretty clear that this one gets so much attention because it's Triple H burying a couple of internet darlings.

WWE will never, ever put Sting on the same level as those guys, and they shouldn't - he isn't there. Flair is the only person that is. Since 1998 WCW has been presented by WWE as a second tier wrestling company that only became successful because they poached WWE stars (like Nash, who was far more responsible for the boom period of WCW than Sting, and is good friends with HHH), so being "the franchise of WCW" means about as much to a die-hard WWE fan at this point as Douglas being "the franchise of ECW."

Some things: 1. Incesticide isn't a studio album, it's a B-Sides and Rarities type deal. 2. No real reason to degrade Hole as a band because Courtney is insufferable. Live Through This produced "Violet," "Doll Parts," and "Miss World," while Celebrity Skin produced its title track, "Malibu," and "Awful." These all did well because they are *good songs*, which irrational hatred of the singer could keep you from seeing. 3. OSJ with "Amusingly enough, I no longer see that ranting of FSW, Antacular, and their bastard child, offspring515, so this thread may continue with normal, polite discourse" IMMEDIATELY below FSW's post, which he allegedly cannot see. Also, I think it's pretty clear that Kurt would have taken issue with the "polite discourse" of throwing the word "bitch" around like you're fucking Ice Cube or something

However, in the interest of fair play, how about his three-way dance with Rollins and Ambrose? How about his match with CJ Parker? How about his recent work? I'll check those two out, though a three-way dance isn't a singles match. His "recent work" is more vague praise, but thank you for taking a break from trolling to recommend something.

Yeah really. I think he's great at what he's currently doing. I think in time he'll be a consistently good singles performer. I just find OSJ's claim that he's had "too many good singles matches to list" to be absurd. The guy has had what, maybe a dozen singles matches on tv since being called up? He didn't exactly suck in FCW/NXT if you were watching. But you still can't list even one match?
