  1. I respect John Cena as a good wrestler, but he has go away heat with me. He's been on top longer then Hogan was, and twice as long as Austin. Stale was what I called him 5 years ago, I have no idea what to call him now. The WWE is going to kill mainstream wrestling because they are scared to death going away from there "working formula".
  2. I found the Ruta Meilutyte story last year, the Bulgarian by way of England 15 year old who came out of nowhere to win 100m Breaststroke gold. Just looked to see what she is up to, and the answer seems to be "becoming one of the best swimmers in the world".
  3. This would be fun, though the second would just be dominated by Cide, Nigel, Strong, Ki, and co.Just have some basic groundrules, like A: No Main Events, B: no matches that feel like they could/should have been main events: (Danielson/Cide on Reborn Stage 2 is a good example)I could come up with a list of matches from a lot of 04 and 05, but couldn't run it, posting from a phone kinda cancels me out.
  4. Good god that Delirious and Jacobs vs. Maff and Whitmer tag match is one of RoH's lost matches. An amazing "squash but not squash". Up there with Jacobs vs. Shelley I Quit, Roderick and Jack vs. Special K, and Aries vs. Nigel vs. Romero vs. Rave 4CS as my "cool shit nobody remembers.
  5. No arguments on Lift. You can Lift Colussus on Ilos like nothing at 12. No opponent in the game 1 of Lift or Singularity doesn't fuck up in the entire game, including the final boss.
  6. I'm honestly curious how much of how hard I took the ending goes back to how much I bought into Hale as FemShep. Oh, an in the 1st game, playing with anything but an adept with an Assault Rifle is an inferior choice. Singularity is broken.
  7. People are missing the real "Whitmer has shitty luck" game: he got hurt right after the CZW fued, when he was the main focus of the RoH force. I can't be the only one who thought Whitmer siding with Cide over his fellow "good ol boys" Cornette, Pearce and the Briscoes would have been cool as shit right?
  8. One of my favorite things about ROH back in the day, was that they had guys who were vets like Carnage Crew who weren't "Indy Workrate Darlings".Fucking aye my friend.Honestly, the thing RoH did so well back in their day I'm just realizing now is they gave you everything. Reborn: Stage 1 for an example. You want a hate filled brawl? Whitmer vs. Cabana. Want a bunch of well worked chain wrestling? Nigel vs. Stryker. Want some cool high spots? Six Man Mayhem. And that's just the undercard.RoH's roster used to be so damn diverse, and everyone fit. Bah.
  9. If you ever make a list of the 10 best brawls in RoH history, Whitmer is in a good 5 of them.
  10. I think the Yankees can see what there mega contracts have brought in recent years. Losing a 1st round pick would be a big blow now a days.
  11. The dude mid jump in celebration makes it twice as good.
  12. Also, the idea of Ryback beating Cena only for Bryan to beat Ryback in the same match a week later seems like a good card to play.
  13. Getting hard to argue those 2 aren't the best on the planet.
  14. Well, I think Hall is certainly the better player, I can argue the Canadians can use grit against the Americans.
  15. How about "Next thing you'll be telling me he's a quint, and craps dark matter"
  16. If that came with an accurate voice recording of Wrex saying "We'll see about that, Bitch", I'd buy all of them.
  17. Nobody did any of those but the most cold hearted bastards on the planet.Now...
  18. Can't disagree with anything on the list... but
