RIPPA Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 It's not that it cant make it - I just couldn't find it and I couldn't find Dean talking about Scarily - I seem to recall their being more than one Midlothian show online
DouglasC Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 You'll have to transcribe the commentary, but here you are: 3
RIPPA Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 The Midlothian match is NOW ON THE LIST~! Since I am an idiot 1001 Matches - The Correction
DEAN Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 The Midlothian match is NOW ON THE LIST~! Since I am an idiot 1001 Matches - The Correction I was sitting next to Tim and Dave so you can hear my reactions to the wonderment in the ring. I'm the one trying to be encouraging. Just to become despondent when they tried anything in the ring. And then Gino Blanchard's horror....
RIPPA Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 Just for the record - you brought that horror on yourself. You did a road report from the previous Midlothian show and you were all THEY SHOULD RUN MORE OFTEN!!! I would quote it but I'm in the car
DEAN Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Just for the record - you brought that horror on yourself. You did a road report from the previous Midlothian show and you were all THEY SHOULD RUN MORE OFTEN!!! I would quote it but I'm in the car Holy shit, I would go see another Midlo show every day. Talk about standing up to the test of time.
Matt D Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I've been too busy at work and with holidays to really give this the thought it deserves, but: "Best British comedy match ever" feels like a thing.
RIPPA Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 God this took forever and I still have 3 more parts to go... 1001 MATCHES: 2015 - PART ONE (JAN - MARCH)
RIPPA Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 Ooof - I will edit after the Rumble if necessary 1001 MATCHES: 2015 - PART TWO (APRIL - JUNE)
Curt McGirt Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 What strikes me about the Cavernario/Titan match is that it's really goddamn stiff for a lucha match, and that our erstwhile Caveman is apparently (according to his gimmick) an idiot savant about technical wrestling. And that Titan will just eat it all the time, even if the crowd hates him. Even some spots where he ended up standing made my joints hurt. Segunda caida is where it's at. Oh and Titan also pulls out some awesome submissions; off the top of my head La Mistica into rollup. EDIT: Okay that's not a submission... just go and watch the match
RIPPA Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 None of you care about this anyway so might as well put the next part out during the Super Bowl 2015 PART THREE (July - Sept) 4
RIPPA Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 I am the king of posting things when there is the least amount of board activity. I am also the king of projects no one pays attention too. 2015 PART FOUR (Oct - Dec) 1
The Man Known as Dan Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Adding "watching all the matches you've posted from March on" to my things to do before Madness. Also, Eddie Kingston is the best no frills promo in wrestling and has been for a decade. I miss watching Eddie all the time. 1
BillThompson Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I am the king of posting things when there is the least amount of board activity. I am also the king of projects no one pays attention too. 2015 PART FOUR (Oct - Dec) Trust me, we're paying attention. Love this project very much
Steelcanvas Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Liking this very much. Give me wrestling to download! (Also someone upload the Chigusa/Dump hair/hair match please, but until you do I'll download the rest of the internet)
Brisco Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Screw you Rippa for ruining any plans I may or may not have had for the evening. Add me to the list of people who love this project, even if I have not found time to watch all of the matches.
zev Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I am the king of posting things when there is the least amount of board activity. I am also the king of projects no one pays attention too. 2015 PART FOUR (Oct - Dec) "It’s Tenryu’s last match. You should watch Tenryu’s last match." Taking that recommendation right now.
SirSmUgly Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 It's taking me a while to get through this, but I'm quite enjoying it. I didn't realize just how similar my tastes are to RIPPA's until I got deep into this thing.
RIPPA Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 I plan on picking back up after the next DVDVR (which should be soon) It will be much easier to get cranking again without being confined by own stupid rules
zev Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 This is a grand project with great reasoning behind it. Also, if there are rules that prohibit this list from having more than one Riot from WOW match, please amend those rules.
RIPPA Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 Okay - I have been sitting on this one for like 3 and a half months. I don't know why. At least it gets me on to the next piece. 1001 MATCHES: THE NUMBER ONES 2
Curt McGirt Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 EDIT for complete stupidity. Just go watch the damn matches
zev Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Sekigun Army match seems to be gone already on a copyright claim.
