I just wanted a forum to discuss how Fernando Verdasco looks like a metrosexual Tito Santana.

Any predictions for the Australian Open?

Prediction for the Aussie: Nadal doing his best Seth Rollins over anyone who crosses his path.

I think Kei Nishikori wins either Australia or the U.S. Open this year. As always, I have no idea how healthy Nadal actually is, which makes it hard to pick him to win.

On the women's side, it's the same old story. Motivated Serena Williams >>>>>>> every other woman. If her head isn't into it though, she will be out early, leaving the field wide open.

A healthy Azarenka is also a big favorite since she loves that Major and no Li Na helps as well since she also played very well at that Major. I hope Sloane or Genie make a deep run again this year or have a breakthrough and win the whole thing.

The fact that Serena Williams is #1 in the world and a threat to still win majors at 33 and 16 years after her first major is amazing.

The fact that Serena is 33 makes me feel really old.

Don't think Nadal will have the necessary match fitness to contend. May even put a little bit on whoever draws him early on too.

Janowicz is my smokey in the mens. Think Federer or Murray will take it.

"Beads and Braces" Serena and Venus giving Martina Hingis nightmares was a long time ago :(.

Well Azarenka faces Sloane in the 1st round so I will watch that match live whenever it's on espn2.

McHale and Fortez is 11-10 in the 3rd set and earlier in that set McHale puked her guts out all over the court a couple of times.

Thank god for ESPN3.

It's hard for me to get into the Aussie Open just because of the time zone change. But is anyone not rooting for Kei to go far? He's so exciting and a total throwback to the days when tennis success wasn't so serve dependent. I also love Novak to death, but I really want Kei to break through.

My favorite tennis player is Gael Monfils. I love that he's the best athlete in the sport (maybe in its history), has such creativity and imagination and is so entertaining while also being one of sports biggest headcases. He's everything you could possibly hope for in terms of a personality.

Serena's the most underrated athlete in US history. In all sports. She only gets bounced out of tournaments because of injury/fatigue or she has a brain cramp or someone plays the best they can reach. She's dominated tennis for about 15 years.

Azarenka vs. Wozniacki is on live at 3 am on espn 2.

Federer is down 2-1 against an Italian journeyman named Andreas Seppi. Good match. Seppi's a really steady player -- hits the ball real nice and doesn't try to do anything he can't handle.

We're going to elect Genie Bouchard the constitutional monarch of Canada someday.

Will she twirl then?

We're going to elect Genie Bouchard the constitutional monarch of Canada someday.

Or she'll take it by force with her Army.

DOWN GOES FEDERER! Loses in a scintillating 4th-round tiereaker. Seppi's winner down the line to seal the match was ridiculous.

I'm catching up on Seppi vs. Nick Kyrgios. It's awesome: Seppi's the veteran journeyman who just won the match of his lifetime against Federer. Kyrgios is a brash 19-year-old Australian who is sort of a major dick but also a hometown hero. There are other juxtapositions: Seppi's a very steady, headsy player who doesn't make a lot of errors and hits a lot of clean bally. Kyrgios is exactly what you'd think of when you hear the phrase "brash 19-year-old." He pounds the shit out of the ball but also has a ton of skill as a shotmaker that's quickly becoming refined. It has an awesome atmosphere, since Aussies are nuts, particularly when it comes to hometown sports heroes. Multiple comebacks, drama and a great five-setter between two very evenly matched opponents.

That was one hell of a performance for Milos Raonic over Lopez.

He's really added a lot to his game. Not just a big guy that bombs things. He's close.

Venus Williams just won to advance to the quarterfinals for the 1st since like 2010 and will face young American Madison Keys.

Eugenie Bouchard vs. Maria Sharapova quarterfinal is on right now! 3-1 Maria at the moment.

There were talking on the radio abouy how Djokovic is like a big brother to Milos, since they have similar heritage.

Tomas Berdych is absolutely schooling Rafa. It's insane. I can't remember seeing a dude at Nadal's level ever getting smoked like this. Berdych is just toying with Nadal.

Watching this Nadal destruction is like a tennis reenactment of Roy Hobbs striking out the Whammer by the side of the train.
