Leviathan West Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State and Wisconsin are all 1-loss teams and we're only 10 days into the season. Definitely didn't see that coming.
muhammedboehm Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 And half of them at minim will have a second loss or more, once they get threw big ten play
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 2 SEC teams, Florida State and Oregon? I don't trust Oregon.
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 We'll find out more about OU when they travel to West Virginia. Luckily for them they have K-State, Baylor and Okie St. at home but I feel at least one of those will be close..
EVA Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 2 SEC teams, Florida State and Oregon? I don't trust Oregon. People called me crazy for suggesting this was a possibility, but I saw the potential for a B1G apocalypse coming.
JRGoldman Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 What about an undefeated Oklahoma? Nothing would be more perfect for the first college football playoff than for Bob Stoops to lose a game he should win because he went for a fake punt on his own twenty while up by 7 in the third quarter.

Is that before or after OU is in the playoff?
EVA Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Of course, the Pac-12 needed this win tonight about as much as the B1G did. With UCLA looking WAY overrated (not surprised) through the first two games, if Oregon had gone down, they'd be in a bind for a spot in the playoffs, too.
muhammedboehm Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 So how funny would it be if the first 4 team playoff ends up with a 'group of 5' team winning it
Gonzo Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 2 SEC teams, Florida State and Oregon? I don't trust Oregon. Oregon will have their annual loss in a game that they have no business losing somewhere in the Pac-12.
Brisco Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 South Carolina won and looked okay doing it. Defense held ECU to mostly field goals which is a nice change from last week.
Shadow Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Let me just say congrats to the ACC to not screwing it up for the first weekend in what seems like forever. Apart from Florida State and to a lesser extent VA Tech or Clemson, the league still isn't very good but how many years in a row did the ACC lose to the likes of Old Dominion, Troy, and San Diego St. Bravo ACC, bravo. I know it's early but one game in conference that I am looking forward to is Louisville @ Clemson on Oct. 11th. I am really interested to see how good Louisville actually is. They've looked pretty good so far but it's pretty hard to gauge them against their competition so far.
EVA Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I missed ND/Michigan because I was at the Southern Miss home opener. I need a breakdown on how many times Nuss went three verticals. Based on the score, I'm guessing a lot. Speaking of Southern Miss...Southern Miss won! By 6 points. Against Alcorn State. Oh, fuck it. We're going 1-11 again.
Tabe Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Michigan went deep only a couple times. They weren't blocking anyone, never had a shot at throwing deep.
Craig H Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 ND had Funchess on lockdown too. Is he Michigan's only WR?
EdA Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 2 SEC teams, Florida State and Oregon? I don't trust Oregon. People called me crazy for suggesting this was a possibility, but I saw the potential for a B1G apocalypse coming. Oh, I didn't think you were crazy. I think the rest of us doubt the NCAA and the Playoff Illuminati have the balls to keep a Big 10+ team out of the mix. I could totally see one of Michigan State, Wisconsin or (ugh) Ohio State going to rest of the way with only one loss and getting into the playoffs. That said, I would not bitch if a shitty Big 10+ team did not make it either. Oh and, HAHAHAHAHA. Fuck you, Ohio State. Oh that feels so good.
