Joe Lucia Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 That "step into our world" tagline needs to go far, far away.
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 19, 2014 Author Posted July 19, 2014 Gotta give it to Dublin. Easily the best crowd in UFC history so far.
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 19, 2014 Author Posted July 19, 2014 Ok, now it's time for Nelson to fight lower top 10 guys.
Joe Lucia Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Soooooo...Conor McGregor. Was that more insane than any Brazilian in Brazil?
Jiji Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Incredible atmosphere and Conor is a heck of a showman.
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 19, 2014 Author Posted July 19, 2014 Yeah, I am gonna safely assume Cole Miller would get smashed by McGregor. 1
hammerva Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Good lord this Dublin crowd needs to be imported to the US PPV quickly. An amazing atmosphere to the point you couldn't even hear the announcers or anything else. Plus they are trying to bring back WHOOMP THERE IT IS in 2014
epwar Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Yeah, I am gonna safely assume Cole Miller would get smashed by McGregor. Of course he was. They are going all in Dan Hardy style on McGregor. He won't have a tough fight until he fights for the title. 2
LethalStriker Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Too bad that Dublin biggest indoor venue only seats 9,500, they could easily sell out a 20,000 seat venue. That's the problem of going to markets that don't have basketball/hockey arenas.
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 20, 2014 Author Posted July 20, 2014 Yeah, I am gonna safely assume Cole Miller would get smashed by McGregor. Of course he was. They are going all in Dan Hardy style on McGregor. He won't have a tough fight until he fights for the title. Define tough fight. You mean a top 10 FW? He'll certainly fight Poirier (if that's where they're going for 178) and that's no gimme.
LethalStriker Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I would guess that Conor/Dustin would be basically be taking the slot on the 178 card that Cowboy/Cerrone was going to take.
smitlick Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I would guess that Conor/Dustin would be basically be taking the slot on the 178 card that Cowboy/Cerrone was going to take. Cowboy/Cerrone?
Zero Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 This was a fun little show. Crowd was great. I still put Big Nog knocking Schaub out in Brazil as the greatest crowd in UFC history though.
