  1. The first Hardy Boys vs Edge & Christian Ladder match was ruined by Lawler constantly drooling over Terri (and mentioning that he interviewed her while she was on a ladder and he could totally see up her skirt every 30 seconds).
  2. One of the players who died on the plane was at Atletico Madrid with David De Gea.
  3. The Mako is not designed to be driven by anyone.
  4. No-one must ever knw what Spud was doing for the full calendar year between winning British boot camp and becoming Madame Dixie's assistant. But apparently he was OVW Champion for most of it. Also, lots of Gut Check winners went there. Taelor Hendrix and that. Samuel Shaw before he was Dexter.
  5. Clue 3 is when you get 100% Enchanting, and you make it so your helmet, armour, gloves and boots all take 25% of the Mana cost of destruction spells away. Because that 100% of the cost and you're now a living lightning machine gun.
  6. Will the on-screen authority figure still be a door?
  7. Yeah well, it's called an end of term disco, not a bloody Prom. Besides which, promenade is a french word meaning 'Walk around so people can see you' which has nothing to do with underage drinking or shagging in limos.
  8. She makes a good case for the Octagon being about half the size it is now. Watching her, anyone would think this was the Ultimate Jogging Backwards Championship. Mixed Martial Retreating.
  9. Black Friday isn't really a thing in England. The high street shops are trying to make it a thing, because they think spiking business for one day is a good thing, but five years ago nobody had even heard of Black Friday (and with a name like that, they'd assume it was commemorating some sort of disaster or massacre or something. But yeah, the shops are trying to make it a thing now. I was just down the Supermarket to get some milk and that. The Black Friday Super Deals are still on the shelves. No fucker bought them.
  10. It's Zero. He was never awarded a penalty in his pro career. Lots of his teammates were awarded shitloads of them though.
  11. Trivia question: Ryan Giggs played 632 Premier League games in his career. In how many of those games was he fouled in the area, and his team consequently awarded a penalty?
  12. Would a Camel Clutch hurt more if the guy being put in the move had an erection? Is that why Rusev's is more effective, because Lana is at ringside? Is that why Scott Steiner started using the move once he had Midajah and Shakira with him?
  13. I saw Gina Bellman playing Janet in the Rocky Horror Show in 1990. Ade Edmonson was playing Brad. It was good. EDIT: And it seems there was a recording of some of it: She was also in Dennis Potter's Blackeyes in 1989. Which most people didn't like because it was too confusing, but I thought it was great. There was loads of nudity and I was 14 or 15.
  14. Such as every Axl Rotten match from 1995. When he was too violent for television.
  15. So now I'm reading Perfidia by Jame Ellroy, which is kind of a prequel to the LA Quartet and features most of the characters from it, but it's set in 1941 right around the time of Pearl Harbour, and the beginning of the internment of Japanese-American citizens as America entered World War 2. I think Ellroy has fallen in love with some of his characters a bit too much here - I get he wants it to be historically accurate to opinions of the day, but literally everyone in this book thinks Eugenics is the very best idea anyone ever had ever. And Dudley Smith (James Cromwell in the LA Confidential movie; Not appearing in the Black Dahlia movie) is now a drug addicted super genius overlord who knows everything about everything. And Elizabeth Short's father.
  16. "I'm gonna yank out my Johnson and piss in this hellhole!" "You're saying I'm not good enough, aren't you Ric?" This:
  17. Well they're hardly going to put him in charge of strength & conditioning, are they?
  18. Don't be a lemon... be a Rosebud! Disappointed that nobody is saying that if Shockmaster hadn't fell, he'd have had a babyface run, formed a tag team with Sting, and then turned on him. It's one of the Ten Commandments of Wrestling: Thou shalt always turn on Sting.
  19. Recommended to me on youtube: Thanks, youtube!
  20. It makes no sense him (Sami Zayn) being on the same show as the Cruiserweights. He's supposed to be this undersized underdog little guy, and here's a whole division of guys four inches shorter and thirty pounds lighter than him.
  21. It does make sense in this context that he killed Abraham first though, Abraham could have mashed him up in a fist fight. And Tyrese would have smashed him, if only he'd have lived. If they'd have found a guy built like Chad Coleman, but taller*, that would have worked. Or they could have cast Mark Henry as Negan, he looks monstrous next to ordinary human beings. * I looked it up. Coleman is 5'11" and 200 lbs, and was born Sept 6th, 1974. So I'm an inch taller, ten pounds lighter, and two days younger. Basically, we're the same person.
