  2. European WWF games WWF WrestleMania (1991) based on the arcade WWF Superstars game https://youtu.be/uS1vYmfNakE?si=AnUS0COV3UQniLck WWF European Rampage Tour (1992) looks like a take on the Super WrestleMania game by Sculptured Software https://youtu.be/Nr-RkC0ruQY?si=H5Mukk39Qk7-zSw8
  3. Naoya Inoue got the job done again. Surprise, surprise.
  4. i'm sure the crowds for Ivan Putski/Jose Lothario tag team matches in 1973 Texas were red hot
  5. Drew McIntyre is out of the King of the Ring tournament, not medically available to compete.
  6. May 1985 WWF All-Star Wrestling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDAKUBQQ4FA Matt Borne is teaming with a job guy against Tito and JYD! We see Muraco, Steamboat, Bob Orton, David Sammartino, and the US Express in action! Freddie Miller is still employed by the WWF and is doing interviews for house shows in Worcester! Sheik and Volkoff are on the Body Shop! Jesse says "Allah Akbar" to the Sheik! The on-screen chyron guy keeps fucking up on the intros! David Sammartino's armdrags are still ridiculously violent looking and he does one every 30 seconds! They insist on referring to a belly to belly suplex as a "Body to Body" suplex, which would be a solid name for a Belly to Belly done by a really fit heel! Ted Grizzly looks like a guy who would have a long feud with Cousin Junior in rural Tennessee! Mike Rotundo has to figure out a finish after Ted Grizzly goes down like a bag of fat! Jesse puts in a varying amount of effort reacting to the announcement of names during the intros/outros
  7. That match felt very out of place especially since that was when WWF was transitioning to a different era. That whole buildup felt like something that would have taken place on Raw 3 or 4 years earlier. Either Ivan called in a favor to give his son the rub or being in San Antonio made WWF want to do something different to appeal to the folks who might still remember Ivan Putski. Either way, it was very odd.
  8. Sheamus deleted the following he made on Twitter: https://i0.wp.com/www.ewrestlingnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Sheamus.jpg?resize=768%2C442&quality=50&ssl=1 No wonder Gunther replied with “What the f**k?"
  9. The SNES had a Street Fighter Alpha 2 port, published by Nintendo https://youtu.be/1EtbIgu5qAs?si=6SDZhgQ8kBH840nG Classic style Chun Li and Shin Akuma are the only secret playable characters in the port. The playable Shin Akuma secret was found out 20 years later. Street Fighter Alpha was ported to the GBC, which was released years later and developed by the defunct Crawfish Interactive. The same developer later made Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper for the GBA, Yun, Maki and Eagle from Capcom VS SNK 2 were added to the roster. .
  10. https://i0.wp.com/www.ewrestlingnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Sheamus.jpg?resize=768%2C442&quality=50&ssl=1 Bloody hell, Sheamus. No wonder Gunther replied with “What the f**k?” Sheamus has deleted his tweet.
  11. Today
  12. I think he looks great for someone who for all intents and purposes really should have been dead a decade plus ago
  13. Classic example of Vince thinking "guys under 6" counted as LHWs in the late 90's
  14. They already have Dustin Rhodes for that.
  15. Christ. That reminds me of the guy I saw doing incline dumbbell presses on my gym's only incline barbell bench. There are 3-4 adjustable standalone benches that he could have been using. Every damn day it's something like this. I go to a really good gym but the equipment that they only have one of (incline barbell, preacher, Smith) draw the dumbest, most inconsiderate people like moths to a flame.
  16. "Now Julie, I'm sorry but Sting has to leave. I have another "stinger" for you... this IV full of radiation for your system. It might help you get better, though! Maybe."
  17. I heard the new head of Ajax wants him back, but he wants United to fire ETH first so Ajax doesn't have to pay compensation.
  18. I found this match today. Never knew it existed but it does. Fathers & Son vs Father & Son
  19. People didn't really turn the corner on going to rehab being a positive until well over a decade later anyway. That was the era where if you were a celebrity going to rehab, you were fodder for late night show monologues. We needed at least a decade of TMZ/Perez Hilton to get most of society to realize that maaaaaaaaybe mocking people for having addictions isn't exactly the fix we thought it was. (Why no, I didn't just rewatch Framing Britney Spears recently, why do you ask)
  20. Throw in a stop at a Buc-ee's and there might be some folks that take that deal, you know.
  21. Supposedly, if Chyna had signed with WCW, she would have been put in the nWo.
  22. "BUT I'VE NEVER HAD SO MANY INJURY ISSUES!!!" I love that Munich seems to want him, but he's talking like he actually has a chance to stay at United. I'm praying for Zidane.
  23. Rob Pelinka should've tried Juwan again. He's available this time.
  24. Speaking of F1, people were dissing Ed Sheeran for going to the F1 in Miami instead of watching Ipswich get promoted (since he sponsors the team).
  25. TBF I think those prices were by the tray. Still ridiculous but not quite as ridiculous.
  26. How about a trip to Titusville, Florida and an Astrovan that may have doubled as a makeshift meth lab?
