The Natural Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 (edited) Here's hoping TJ Dillashaw is KTFO by Cory Sandhagen either quickly or through a right beating. Edited July 22, 2021 by The Natural 2
Jiji Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 For real. I have been pulling for Sandhagen's opponents during this big run of his and been disappointed every time, barring Sterling. Now that I want him to viciously knock a dude out, I hope he doesn't disappoint. 1
DangerMark Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 If all I knew about Dillashaw was that half of his face on the poster, I'd still want him smacked so hard in the gob that it spins round like Daffy Duck. 2
J.T. Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 What everyone else has said. Sandhagen has carried himself like a bit of a dick in the past, but I really hope that Dillashaw eats the knee that killed Frankie Edgar. 2
The Natural Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 (edited) I'm a big Frankie Edgar fan so it sucked seeing Frankie knocked out cold for the first time ever. I'd love a repeat of THAT knee by Corey Sandhagen. Cool how we're unanimously wanting TJ Dillashaw KTFO. C'mon Corey! Edited July 23, 2021 by The Natural
The Natural Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 (edited) Hope TJ Dillashaw gets knocked clean out, please and thank you. Fuck TJ Dillashaw. Edited July 23, 2021 by The Natural
DreamBroken Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Co-signing everyone else on our hopes for the main event. Macy Chiasson has pulled out due to injury. Damn, was looking forward to Aspen Ladd's return, one of my top favorites. 1 1
The Natural Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 (edited) We're all hoping TJ gets fucking starched. C'mon Corey! Edited July 24, 2021 by The Natural
The Natural Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 I'll be honest. I don't like follow up punches to an out cold fighter...but I'll make a very rare exception here.
AxB Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Did Maycee Barber just plug a QAnon thing in her post (undeserved) decision win? Because they pretend to care about Child Traffickking, don't they?
J.T. Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Sijara Eubanks had quite the chip on her shoulder tonight. Elise Reed's eye payed the price for it.
Guest Jimbo_Tsuruta Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 I felt like the judges made the right call in the main
Jiji Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Sandhagen has that fight if he just stopped spinning. Still, TJ looked good. Timing on his takedowns was fantastic, he didn't rely on countering the spins alone by any means.
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 25, 2021 Author Posted July 25, 2021 I got no problem with the decision. Sandhagen's strategy from round 3 on was to just to do barely enough to edge the rounds, which is probably not the best idea when the other guy is the aggressor. Sandhagen landed the better strikes (he landed a nasty body shot in the final round), but it was a lot of space in between. Plus, he was giving up his back far too willingly. I think Sandhagen believed he was outlanding TJ at a bigger clip than he actually was (or wasn't because TJ landed more in RDs 1 and 3). 1
The Natural Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 http://mmadecisions.com/decision/12163/T.J.-Dillashaw-vs-Cory-Sandhagen Media scores. 6 to Dillashaw. 17 to Sandhagen. 1
Jiji Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Yikes, that's nasty. This feels like a loss that will improve Sandhagen's game in the long run. Be more consistent with the output and far less cutesy. God damn that is nasty. 2
The Natural Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Have I missed any word on the UFC Bantamweight Championship? Yan vs. Sterling was on my 6th March birthday, the first time a title changed hands through disqualification. Sterling won due to Yan's illegal knee. 1
