Burgundy LaRue Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 I wouldn't blame Sasha for Paige's retirement. That was always going to happen, it was simply a matter of who would be Paige's opponent who delivered the blow. Paige likely shouldn't have been cleared to wrestle again, anyway. The multiple nose fractures Alexa suffered only working with Sasha is concerning. Many of today's wrestlers grew up wanting to do it, and they have trouble wrapping their minds around other wrestlers not feeling that way for their entire lives. In other words, they're marks for themselves on a pedantic level. They, and we, can't determine someone's passion or determination. That's not an issue exclusive to Sasha, but I think she tends to wear it on her sleeve. 6
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 Quote Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio said the idea behind the triple threat semifinal in the King of the Ring tournament is to get Ricochet over. You know the other thing that would get Ricochet over is to have him cleanly go over Joe and then beat Corbin.
John from Cincinnati Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 I guess overcoming two heels at once is a big deal in someone’s mind. After all, this is the same company that’s still in love with handicap matches for some reason.

I viewed it as having Ricochet go out of the tournament without being pinned.
