odessasteps Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Added today: crooks anonymous with Leslie Philips abd Julie Christie. this would have been a good pick for the Xmas movie club (rip). 1
Curt McGirt Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 Whoever decided to do THAT version of the REM song needs to be given a medal just for the desecration. And then whoever decided to score it to that lineup of sorrow needs to be taken out back and made to join them.
odessasteps Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 I saw they added The Daughter of Rosie O Grady and I immediately thought of this. the movie was also from Warners. 2

I watched the first two and passed out later on. I figured they'd be on TCM On Demand so I did not DVR
odessasteps Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Yeah, it seems like most things show up on the app a day or two after being on the TV.
Bustronaut Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 (edited) Everyone should check out REPEAT PERFORMANCE, an noir film that plays like an extended Twilight Zone/dramatic Groundhog Day. It'll probably go up on the app tomorrow. ETA: Just checked and it's up now, expires 1/9 Edited January 3, 2022 by Bustronaut
J.T. Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Rope comes on at 8PM EDT tonight, followed by Bonny & Clyde at 9:30PM and Badlands at 11PM.
odessasteps Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Oops. Hirschfeld was last night. that’s a great night of crime duos, though.
odessasteps Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Now on the app bad day at black rock. Robert Ryan, Ernest Borgnine and Lee Marvin are quite the heel stable on paper. rock and rock high school red river for the horror folks, the town that dreaded sundown
J.T. Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Nightmare Alley came on today. Totally forgot to DVR it.
Curt McGirt Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 It was on twice! I had too much shit to record it. Watched a couple moments and it looked properly lurid.
odessasteps Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 up now, the World, the Flesh and the Devil - an end of the world picture with Harry Belafonte, inger Steven’s and Mel Ferrer as the last 3 people on Earth. they also put up a bunch of Gordon Parks stuff today.
odessasteps Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 The app added I am Curious Yellow and a bunch of protest films.

I am Curious - Yellow was on last Sunday as a part of the TCM Imports programming line. Coffy & The Big Bird House were on Screenpix and I totally missed World / Flesh / Devil. I always thought it was pretty subversive to have a blonde white woman be the uniting bridge between a black man and a bigoted white dude. Edited January 19, 2022 by J.T.
Curt McGirt Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 (edited) The Friends of Eddie Coyle was on last night and is always worth a watch. I forgot how much of a downer the end was (and the casual racism of the characters, too). Edited January 19, 2022 by Curt McGirt 1

It's still on the app. Bunch of Hitchcock and Welles on there right now too.
Curt McGirt Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 (edited) I'm also curious about who would pull up the app just to watch the Swedish porno but I'm not gonna ask (it won't be me. But as an historical curiousity, I would understand). Edited January 19, 2022 by Curt McGirt
odessasteps Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Well, I watch everything on the app and not the TV, so I guess that would be me if I wanted yo watch it. 1
odessasteps Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 (edited) On the app… heavy metal, mad max and the 1950s King Solomons Mines also French connection, Star 80, patterns, power and the prize and more Hitch. Edited January 23, 2022 by odessasteps
J.T. Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Heavy Metal and American Pop were on TCM Underground. Neither one is on the OnDemand queue.
