odessasteps Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 I've taken screenshots in RDR2, including a cool desert rainbow.
odessasteps Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Finally got all 16 glyphs & the remembrance seed today.
jstout Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 For the damn life of me, I cannot figure out how to get around in the galaxy map. Trying to get to the right place to finish up a quest is just a major pain in the ass. I bought a Class S ship and now I"m trying to deck it out with all the stuff my old ship had, and what do you know? That's being a pain in the ass, too. I attribute my growing impatience with this game to me growing ever-more too old for this shit, whatever shit it is. I think I'll just take more naps.
odessasteps Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Got an S class white squid today. Not going to use it yet, as I think its only 18+6. But I have one.
odessasteps Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 New update today, including ship upgrades, personal refiners, multiple outfit save slots and more.
odessasteps Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 I guess that is related to the void egg stuff that just started this weekend.
Craig H Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 I really, really want to get back into No Man's Sky, but I have a million other things to play at the moment and one of my friends convinced me to get GTA V on PS4 just to play online stuff.
Gonzo Posted April 7, 2020 Author Posted April 7, 2020 (edited) Now in No Man's Sky: GIANT F'ING MECHS! Edited April 7, 2020 by Gonzo 1 1
odessasteps Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 They are cool, but id say they are more exo suits than giant mechs. Only watched videos sofar. Will trysoon.

Craig H Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Sometimes I wonder if I should just get this for the PS4 since the last time I played it on my PC it would ton sluggish at times. Any of you playing this on the PS4?
Raziel Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 I played it on PS4, didn't have any issues and it ran fine. I don't think there's any functional difference between the platforms.
odessasteps Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 From the streamers i watch, they say PC runs better but that likely depends on your specs.
Craig H Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 My PC used to be decently powerful, but it ran NMS like shit when it first came out. Then it improved and it played pretty well. At some point around one of the last big patches I would get massive slow down playing it. If it's cheap enough on the PS4, I may just get it for that even though flying with mouse and keyboard is really good.
odessasteps Posted July 16, 2020 Posted July 16, 2020 New update today: Desolation haunted freighters and more 1
Raziel Posted July 16, 2020 Posted July 16, 2020 Among the better updates: Overhaul of the bloom effects, easier access to Freighter customization, FINALLY GETTING FREIGHTER TELEPORTERS, and a combat system overhaul. https://www.polygon.com/2020/7/16/21326944/no-mans-sky-desolation-update-patch-notes-2-6-freighters 1
odessasteps Posted July 16, 2020 Posted July 16, 2020 From the one video I have seen, the teleprompter is the best improvement.
Raziel Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 The lighting effects are pretty damn good. I haven't tried anything combat related yet as I only have a boltcaster and didn't really do any other weapons (even though I got tons of fucking space on my current multitool). I did find the downside of the Frigate Teleporters as they seem to be one way, which isn't totally bad if you're shortcutting to another system, but you can't seem to leave your Frigate one place and jump back and forth. But like the other teleporters, your ship follows.

I just grabbed it a few hours ago.
Gonzo Posted September 19, 2020 Author Posted September 19, 2020 Yet another huge No Man's Sky update apparently coming next week. This one is called Origins.
odessasteps Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Funny. Some NMS streamers think it will be big and something it won’t be.

odessasteps Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 A lot bigger i think that many people expected.
