Kurt Angle interrupts and says he will stop him by becoming #1 contender himself. Eric Young sneak attacks Roode. Angle gets involved as he and Roode fight off Young and he runs to the back. *Taryn Terrell def. Awesome Kong via DQ to retain the knockouts championship when Kong shoved the referee. *Bram def. Matt Hardy after a low blow. After the match, Bram went after Matt with a weapon but Magnus ran down and fought him off. Magnus cut a promo threatening Bram and said he's going to stand up for himself and his family. *The Wolves def. The Revolution to win the TNA Tag Team Championships when Davey pinned Abyss after Matt Hardy fought off the rest of the Revolution and hit Abyss with the Twist of Fate followed by Edwards' double foot stomp. *The BDC come to the ring and complain about Drew Galloway costing MVP his title match last week. Drew comes out through the crowd and says he's here to stand up for wrestling and wrestling fans. The BDC threaten to go to his parents' house if he doesn't fight them. Drew challenges Kenny King to a match.. *Drew Galloway def. Kenny King after the Future Shock DDT. After the match, the BDC charge the ring but Drew escapes through the crowd. *Rockstar Spud comes out and the fans sing happy birthday to him. Spud calls out EC3 to fight him. EC3 comes out and they go face to face. Their in ring confrontation sets up a hair vs hair match for next week. *Kurt Angle def. Eric Young & Bobby Roode to become #1 contender to the TNA World Title with the Angle Slam on Roode after Young used a chair when the ref went down. Now if TNA could just use a damned lighting rig, I would feel a lot less sad about Kurt being an active wrestler because you can barely see his matches now. MGFanJay Posted March 7, 2015 Share Posted March 7, 2015 Loved the show-opening hype video and the opening promo exchange really made Drew Galloway seem like a huge deal. Taz talking about King's capture suplex reminding him of some guy...who was gone. Well, that was a bit sad - that was an Al Bundy lamenting moment there. Fun little match here - I liked Drew's chop to the back, apron tilt a whirl, and use of the Future Shock. Thanks to Dean getting that back over as a finish, it really works well now for him. Good little hype video for the women's title match later. GLORIOUS evil meeting between Bram and Storm. And then Destination America put up another one of those stupid spoiler videos. If you were wondering who wins TONIGHT'S MAIN EVENT, don't bother - they just told you Kurt wins it to face Lashley in April.Matt-Bram was really fun, although Bram's finisher now being called THE BRIGHTER SIDE OF SUFFERING is stupid. Great promo from Magnus and Spud's new Union Jack suit rules. FANTASTIC promo between EC3 and Spud here. TNA has made a hair vs. hair match seem like a big deal in 2015 - kudos. Spud comes off like the world's tiniest badass - much like a modern Spike Dudley, which fits his finisher nicely.Knockouts title match was shockingly good given how little Kong can really do. She dominated and looked strong, while Taryn played the face in peril - the DQ finish sucked, but it was building to something bigger and I'm looking forward to the Gail-Taryn-Kong three way. Davey got claw marks shaved into his head - yikes. Tag title match was a fun clusterfuck. Loved the triple dives from the faces. Triple threat main event was okay - it never got out of first gear, and at least they got a finish out of that chairshot to the head.
