epwar
So does anybody care about Bellator on here? This is definitely one of the more solid cards they've put together this year. Well, besides the King Mo gift tournament. Of note on the prelims is Bubba Jenkins, former NCAA champ who many expect to be a standout in the next few years. Randy
Yes, I generally watch and enjoy the shows. In Bellator terms, it is a big show for them; 2 title fights and 2 tournament finals.
Elsalvajeloco
Frank Baca? Check. Donald Sanchez? Check. Keith Berry? Check. KOTC alumni in the house. Also on the prelims, the lost Clottey brother Shawn Bunch is on the undercard. He might turn out to be one of their better prospects.
epwar
Forgot that Silva/Lima and Leone/Baca are Bantamweight tournament matches. Also, over/under on the number of guys on the prelims who miss weight?
TheVileOne
The show is pretty stacked, I think it will pull a decent rating. At least higher than the last Summer event.

Randy
Ha ha they fooled everybody! By showing RJJ at cageside everybody assumed he was fighting Rampage.
Elsalvajeloco
Bellator is literally trying to be the TNA of mixed martial arts. Wasting their money on beyond shot entertainers that will not make a difference towards the bottom line.
hammerva
This fight will be awesome. Now we need is a time machine to send both of them and the fight back to 2003 or 2004.
Fat Spanish Waiter
Good God Askren is the worst possible dude. He doesn't even try to hurt the other guy, his punches are deliberately limp.
epwar
The ref stopped the fight because he was tired of watching it!
Elsalvajeloco
Why would you even enter a Bellator welterweight tournament just to wind up getting your ass whooped like that?

epwar
Michael Chandler is a beast. A beast that sadly just signed a long term contract with Bellator. Ben Askren is living, breathing ratings death.

DreamBroken
Always enjoy the Bellator shows since coming to Spike..crazy fast KO in the main. Loved the wrestling segment style debut for Tito.. "My opponent will be... this man!"
Control
Bellator just announced Rampage Jackson vs. Tito Ortiz for Nov. 2nd on their PPV debut.Honestly, if they're set on PPV, this seems like the best possible match. Tito, at least, should not be fighting anyone outside of the seniors circuit, and their name value, while not what it once was, is still a lot higher than anyone else's in Bellator. So what's the rest of the card? Eddie Bravo and some title fights?
Elsalvajeloco
It just feels like Viacom put Bellator in this situation to see if they can turn a real profit. You don't do PPV as a secondary promotion unless you have at least two or three PPV commodities. They have one (literally two past their prime fighters combining as one) at best. That won't cut it.
