Swift
They certainly know how to market to geeks. Last year, this came out... Just recently, this came out... And they've just announced this... http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/36088
Fat Spanish Waiter
Only the car, not the Station. Anyway: If anyone is willing to buy me one. Boxed.
Fat Spanish Waiter
I watched the Ghostbusters reveal video and the next set of submissions are fucking terrible. A Sherlock lego set? What the fuck can you build for him? How would it be fun? Why aren't people suggesting awesome things instead of things they enjoy watching on tv? Red is Dead
The scale model r2d2 looks boss. It's never going to happen, but I like to look wistfully at it from time to time. £170 for it.
Zimbra
The Simpsons House looks great ans is full of nice touches like the damage on the car, but I hate the Simpsonized minifigs. I'd much prefer regular figures with painted faces and separate hair bits. I'm still buying it, though. Going to wait and see on the Ecto-1 since the DeLorean is kinf of butts. Craig H
What's awesome about the Back to the Future set is that you can turn the Delorean into any version of it from the movies. Yeah, I bought it. I think it would be just as cool to make the time travel locomotive.
Craig H
I also still think Lego GI Joe would be amazing.
Tromatagon
Some fake Lego company has the GIJoe license
Swift
Lego doesn't do military stuff, so I'd imagine G.I. Joe would fall under that. The toy soldiers from Toy Story are the closest they've come I believe.
Tromatagon
I understand why, but who wouldn't have wanted a Lego Sherman tank as a kid?
Swift
The beauty of Lego is that you can build whatever you want with it though - http://flickrhivemind.net/Tags/allies,tank/Interesting

Zimbra
So, uh, I found this site with archives of Lego instructions and catalogs. My productivity for the day is shot.
Jingus
And now there's apparently a Lego Movie being released in... uh... 36 hours. Somehow I've totally missed the fact that they stuck the Justice League, the Ninja Turtles, some Star Wars characters, Dumbledore, Gandalf, Shakespeare and Shaq all in the same movie. Talk about a company which might as well be printing their own money!
