  1. Seriously? Who else would it have been? The minute I read the first page of Astonishing it was obvious that Kitty was going to be the main character and that meant she'll be tortured/ killed.
  2. Fear that, if New Jack found out they were making fun of him, he'd find them and kill them? Nah, I mean..... look. He obviously fears Pooh Jack as he hasn't fucked with him. And who would?
  3. Am I crazy or was there a segment once where Dr Death and Bob Holly ended up fighting in a frat house or something? And I'd sear Bob Holly got suplexed into a fishtank? I'm not sure what would be more interesting......if that really happened or if imagined it because of mental problems or something. It happened . I have no memory of why but it happened.
  4. Wait.... wha? Did someone (Meltzer?) say they were seriously trying to get Orton over? Really? No, that's what Bryan said on Jericho's show.
  5. I have Roku three and finally great net speed. I had one blip during the preshow and otherwise it was HD and perfect.
  6. Dusty himself has said that Vince told him to have fun, and leave behind all the stress of running a company. And that he did at first feel that the polka dots were intended to be a rib , but he said "Have you seen the shit I wore in the Seventies? I'll get the polka dots over." And he did.
  7. "Quick, sign the two fat guys before JJ makes them the new Austin vs Rock!"
  8. There is a narrow point in the nerd space time continuum for anything to exist and leave and remain cool. And no one has ever nailed it . THE YOUNG ONES? Ooooo...that's good.
  9. HAHAHAHAHA , "I lost a lover and a friend, but you lost a lover...."
  10. The Gangster scene in The Band Wagon was better than the Singing In The Rain " Broadway Melody Ballet" but Singing In The Rain is the better movie. And The Band Wagon is a great movie.
  11. The best was young Patton looking at the tanks. Young Patton is the coolest most bad ass motherfucker.
  12. There is a narrow point in the nerd space time continuum for anything to exist and leave and remain cool. And no one has ever nailed it .
  13. It was more of a "We have all the real champs" promotional thing. Backlund didn't stay there long and never main evented any of the PW USA cards at the Meadowlands. He only was in a tag team battle royal, a midcard match vs Zybysko, and a match with Larry Sharpe. He was never actually put in a situation in the New York area to draw.
  14. Be it wrestling, music, or movies, you keep going on about how this and that is "bland" now. Ever think it's not those things but it's something going on with you? No offense.
  15. I swear one of the things he said during that was "kyle brozlofsky".
  16. Pretty much, but with the extra "Ooomph" of it being Vince doing the Rock's role. Heh Rock Role..heh heh heh.
  17. I feel like you don't know what a Pantomime is, because it has nothing to do with a mimeI just felt like dropping a "Cheers" line. And I fucking know what "pantomime " means.
  18. I just watched the last Quantum Leap for the third time. I always loved it, but it took three times for me to fully understand it. It's right up there in that short list of best finales. Everyone centers on the whole "Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home" as a downer, as did I. But now I get it that it meant he embraced his destiny as an agent of good.
  19. If they actually do something with Vince coming out and "saving" Bryan's reign, it's pretty easy to do. Just have him say "I may not get it(with some Vincey facial expressions and all that) but what Ive always done is listen to the people! And you two aren't ....Stephanie ...Paul.....YOOOOOOOOUUUUUURRRRRE FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRAHHHHHEEEAAEADDDDDD!"
  20. Dude, Ambrose has been getting all WWE jacked for awhile now. It's why he's been sleeveless for awhile. He knows what the score is in the big time and he's "showing off his guns".Oh and all the wrestlers who've said "I would've given MMA/ UFC a chance instead of wrestling" are just wrestlers clinging to some bit of kayfabe to come off as real life tough fighters. ~Johnny....who answers things from the past of threads.
  21. Holy shit, no. Not even in big cities. The people at ringside you can see on TV have money to afford those seats, and the vast majority are still some rednecky types, but of all races. At least at WWE shows. And Im not bashing, these are the people I like sitting by when I go to live shows. Especially when they want to kill me when I cheer for the bad guys. And I do that not in a dopey smart fan type way, but as someone who is being a kayfabe supporter of evil and cheating.
  22. That's so awesomely 70's. I know I had a Phillies program when I was 8 that looked exactly the same. Shit, Greg Luzinski would be right at home on that cover.
