I like how seemingly everyone online assumed the Bills would lose, forgetting what team and QB they were up against. Fitz still has a little bit of Bills in him.

As bad to me is he was found guilty initially, he threw some money at her to get her to drop it so they dropped it. They already had her testimony, the pictures, etc. I think that is where the justice system fails a lot of times, he should have been prosecuted regardless, they had enough. I would never blame the victim for the incident but it is a bit shitty that he basically got off free because NC has weird appeal laws and the female got paid probably crazy money. She should have gotten paid anyway in a civil case, it shouldn't have led to him being excused criminally.

Really debating flying to Dallas, skipping WM but doing as many other shows as I can. May depend on how my taxes treat me this year.

I almost feel bad for referees. You know damn well referees in the 80s and 90s messed up just as much if not more, but we didn't have twenty camera angles, high definition, and slow motion to point out every single time they messed up. From the far grainy camera angle we just assumed they were right most the time and only got mad when they reaaaalllly made an obvious mistake. I mean yes they mess up, but I get more annoyed when they forget a rule, less so if they can't tell if a ball grazed a piece of grass when it was caught. If it is hard to see with slow motion cameras, can't expect the referees seeing it in real time to get it right every time.

Would they even have enough challengers to last him this long without having to face the same guys over and over again? My solution would be, since their attendance numbers don't change much for a TC defense anyway, to just not have TC matches as often. If they have a challenge every three or four months they could stretch it out, plus one re-match isn't uncommon on longer reigns. Course if it was every six weeks or so that would be an issue.

I just can't start Lacy until he shows me something, I can't. I know he is a stud but he hasn't gotten more than 15 points since Week 1. I am not playing Hyde either, playing Lacy/Hyde too many weeks is what got me in a hole, then last week they aren't in my line-up and I get 150 points. I know that doesn't mean that will always happen but at some point I have to play the players scoring and not the ones that have the potential to score. I never ever thought I'd be playing McFadden and Bernard over Hyde (who I guess is Out now anyway) and Lacy but that is where we are right now (my league is a .5 PPR if that makes it any better, McFadden catches a fair amount of passes). But I still hope Lacy blows up this week as I'd be happy to play him next week

Played Magicka 2 with my brother last month, thought it was thoroughly dull. Most fun part is having random people join your game and watch them do crazy shit like blow up everything for no reason.

Yea that is why when I got my PS4 I swapped a 1 TB hard drive into it before I even used it. Knew I wouldn't want to download everything again later. I don't download a lot of stuff but I know over the course of me having it I will go over 500 GB, esp with PS Plus.

I mostly am interesting in what XBox One 1 TB deals there are as I don't have any interest in a 500 GB one and if I have to buy a larger one myself it just adds to the cost anyway. This is usually around when I get the second console so hopefully I'll see a deal I like, don't want to miss out on Gears.

I have done a really good job of not reading spoilers/watching the online trailers, I literally know nothing about the game except for whatever can be figured out from the TV commercials. So my goal is to not get on twitter or go to any gaming sites/forums until I beat it so everything will be a surprise. Luckily I am off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays so I should get a lot of it done pretty quick.

I hate when players ask for flags. Every deep pass now the WR wants a flag, every time a QB is hit he finds a referee and motions for a flag. Maybe I am just old but I don't remember ten years ago players doing that. I think Brady started it and now everyone does it.

Personally I think you guys are way over-thinking the crowd thing. It has nothing to do with people cheering because they 'appreciate what they do' or fans are smarter. People cheer the wrestler that entertains them. When I was a young kid my favorite wrestlers were Great Muta, Sting, and Vader in WCW. Two were heels. I knew of course it wasn't real but there was no Internet to tell me who Muta was or how accomplished Vader was in Japan, I liked them because I found their matches entertaining. That's it. And its not a new thing the smart internet crowd invented and I don't think its a bad thing, as long as people are having fun I don't see the big deal. Some people go to the movies to watch the villains, fans shouldn't feel obligated to boo someone just because they are a heel, they aren't a paid studio audience.

My only counter-argument would be that live sports are not down as you mentioned (NFL is up, the other major sports have mostly hovered around the same ratings the last five years), and WWE tries to present itself as a live presentation instead of a weekly sitcom. So I'd be more apt to compare WWE to say MLB ratings than Modern Family. Plus wrestling is one of the harder programs to get advertising for so in a way they have to perform better than the shows around them to justify their existence, as the leaked Destination America email showed. But really all that matters is how USA feels, if USA tomorrow decided they were done with wrestling I have no idea what WWE would do as the landscape has changed. But if USA is satisfied with the ratings then they aren't going anywhere.

Tighter lid but they wrestle in other promotions sometimes. Io wrestled Mio last february on Mio's produced show, Io and Iwatani wrestled in Sendai Girls last summer (maybe as part of the deal with Satomura winning the title). But they are definitely the most isolated of the promotions. I really don't have a problem with that, it makes it more special when they do a cross-promoted match and keeps match-ups fresh. I still remember the 'old days' when it was a big deal when promotions worked together, now every show has wrestlers from multiple promotions.

I can confirm in VA we call people 'sir' just to be polite. Maybe it is because a military base is nearby? I wonder if areas with more military are more likely to say such things.
