You know what's crazy? If he had said that from Day 1 and in the meantime took some parenting classes and apologized, the vast majority of people would have forgiven him by now. But he took so long to say the obvious thing (I am assuming his lawyers told him not to talk since the case was still pending), now people are still pissed off about it and he will likely be out until next pre-season (but I firmly believe not a day longer than that, Goddell just wants it to go away for this season).

I actually got to see a show in person, since for some reason they came to my neck of the woods. I thought it was a fun event, but that was three or four years ago and I haven't followed them since. It was nice though going to a show that wasn't televised so there were no breaks, just match after match.

Unless I am mixing it up with another game, Pro Wrestling X has literally been in development for 15 years. And it looks like so far they have one wrestler and two moves. While I am all for new wrestling games, I'll believe they put out a 100% finished product when I see it.

He was well behaved last season w/ the Patriots and had some success. But I don't see a spot on the roster for him there w/ Gray, Vereen, James White and Branden Bolden holding down the fort. True, but they also didn't want him back after he ended the season so strong last year, so I assumed at the time there must have been some issues that fans didn't know about. I think he is just difficult and not worth the hassle.

AD's "suspension" up to this point is almost irrelevant since he was still getting paid, he hasn't been punished yet. So he needed to lose some game checks. I personally don't agree with either one of them, he does deserve a suspension that includes not getting paid, but missing 14 games total is excessive. I knew that no one was going to win, there is literally no solution that would have made everyone (NFL, NFLPA, AD, and fans) happy. The whole Exempt List thing is what messed things up, but if he had been suspended back then, the NFLPA would have appealed that too. If he had played, fans/advertisers would have been pissed. Easiest solution is for NFL players to just not beat people, but that seems like the least likely outcome.

That asshole was just getting lucky every week anyway. The top three teams all lost in the cash league, so I guess its anyone's game.

It was a great stoppage. There was no eye poke or anything. Chandler was totally out of it. I think he spiked himself. And it was close, I had Brooks winning. Yea definitely a good stoppage. There was no eye poke, he just got knocked loopy and was confused as hell, then got hit a few more times without any defense.

I can't even blame the refs for this game, they did the Bills no favors but if the offense can't score a TD, they aren't winning regardless.

I wouldn't start Jennings since he he will likely be eased back into the rotation and he only had one really good game before he got hurt anyway. Ellington has done me good this year, scared of any Chargers players after their last game but ya gotta do what you gotta do. Great ML - you're kinda screwed, since Jackson is inactive, neither NYG RB I think is a great play (hard to predict who may get the chance TD), and the Bills run D is solid. And Sproles isn't a starter. Roll the dice and pray for the best

I'd imagine it's cuz the PS4 has been pretty steadily moving fine at full price. It's the Xbones they need to blow out. Yea I don't mind the price point, just don't want Last of Us (already played it on PS3) or GTA V (same). Rather have two games I haven't played already thrown in there.

What service are you using with it? Mine is coming in two weeks-ish, I am still debating what carrier to use. I currently am using a Verizon MVNO so I'll have to change. I think we live in the same geographical area, unless you moved at some point.

There is no reason to go to the stores, I haven't had to do that in five or six years. Its all about online now. Amazon usually has really good game sales that change every few hours, looking forward to that. Annoyed all the PS4 deals are basically the same games packaged in, hopefully something different pops up.

It is hovering around 80 at the moment on metacritic, which isn't bad. Not unusual for the first game on a yearly series to not be great when it moves to next-gen, and I am not sure how they worked out the writing/development/etc. but making two games at the same time couldn't have helped. I am sure it will be solid game, just not anything new or ground breaking.

My feelings on the season:

I don't disagree with you, but what is 'right' is too subjective. You could poll 100 people and get probably 10 different ideas of what the 'right' thing is to do in any of these situations. We should just let Tabe decide everything, he seems pretty level-headed.

I do enjoy that we are discussing if the Bray thing is stupid or awesome, and they announce Grumpy Cat will be at Raw. Great timing.

Silly question, why did Mr. Perfect spin the wrong way?

So two full Assassin's Creed games come out the same day next week. I am not silly enough to get them both, but I haven't read a lot about Rogue. It sounds like Rogue has gameplay more similar to IV while Unity is more similar to II/III. I have to note I find it really stupid they are releasing two games at the same time, you'd think that would hurt their overall sales than if they did one in the fall and one in the spring. Plus Rogue is being overshadowed since it is last Gen but honestly I loved IV and will probably like Rogue better.

Even Eli and Geno are shaking their heads at Dalton. I dunno what he is doing in this game.

I've now watched events from 24 different puroresu promotions for 2014, which is all the different promotions I've been able to track down. So far I have been enjoying New Japan the most, which probably won't surprise anyone, but this is the first time I've really sat down and watched full Joshi events and some of them are really impressing me as well. I'd recommend anyone looking to get into Joshi to this year to start with Stardom "Third Anniversary" on 1/26/14, a lot of good wrestlers and matches on that card. As far as indy events go, I think that the debut Fortune event was really solid and worth giving a watch.
