  1. With the Avengers lineup after Age of Ultron it'll make Cap even more so the leader of the group with the shakeup of the team lineup now. I mean before he was the guy leading them in the field and all that jazz but it was more of a group of equals with Iron Man and Thor basically experienced vets also. But with the new lineup he'll be more of a mentor type.
  2. I have a feeling in a few years we're going to get a 30 for 30 on the career of Jon Jones.
  3. Depp is always good in dramas about real life people with movies like Blow, Donnie Brasco and Public Enemies. His over the top roles where he's basically playing a cartoon character tend to be his problem.
  4. Baywatch, who can hate a show with a bunch of hot babes in red swimsuits running on the beach?
  5. Star Wars has a good chance considering that it'll still be the only big movie out in January when the competition isn't as stellar, kind of how American Sniper did so much this past year. Star Wars is the type of movie where people will tend to see it in the theater multiple viewings.
  6. Until January of this year I had never seen more then half of an episode of Breaking Bad, every time I tried it was always some random episode in the middle of a season that I didn't know the backstory so it was hard to get into at that point in time. But in January I started to watch it from the beginning on Netflix and completed in only like 9 days.
  7. And he didn't even show up until a few seasons into Saul. But Walter White pretty much monopolizes his time once he starts representing him so to do that timeframe and not mention WW would be a tad hard to do.
  8. Lemme be a rain cloud then:It's just the first five seasons. I DO have the finale on VHS. now, if only I had a vcr that wouldn't eat tape........... The only way I can see buying a VCR at all nowadays would be a DVD/VCR combo since it's been a long time since you could buy a VCR by itself. But I have a bunch of VHS tapes that just sit on my shelf since I disconnected that the DVD/VCR combo so I could instead have my Blu Ray player set up on my TV since I can watch all of my Netflix, Youtube, Pandora and so on thru that on my TV since watching Netflix on your laptop instead of your TV seems kind of dumb in comparison. Only time I watch Netflix on my laptop anymore is if I'm not at home.
  9. Griffey is the only surefire guy to be added to the vote next year so that'll probably be Piazza and Bagwell's best chance to get in. Also now that Schilling has a lot less top pitchers above him on the ballot will probably increase his numbers next year. But it looks like the veteran committee in a few years will have a lot more top quality names to be voted on in a few years instead of just keep on voting on the same group of fringe HOF'ers.
  10. So the website for my local movie theater still has it listed for this week, is that an error or what?
  11. It doesn't look like UFC will get the BW title back to being the linear champion any time soon, it's the only division other then WW where that exists anymore.
  12. So basically they're just accepting this movie as a financial disaster and only going to release it on DVD/streaming services? Or are they not going to officially release it at all. Sony has to be on one of the worst streaks of major studio success of all least ths century. Between all of the cyber hackings, canceling of this film and forced to reboot Spider-Man again heads will probably be rolling at the studio soon.
  13. Finally got to see Wolf of Wall Street now that it's been added to Netflix, such a great film.
  14. So is this movie now going to technically be a 2015 movie instead of a movie from 2014? Or is it just being delayed in the US and playing in theaters worldwide making it a 2014 movie?
  15. I just finished watching it. That was really heavy handed with the SYMBOLISM!!!! I want to believe Milo the truck driver is actually Vic Mackey. He finished his deal with ICE and is now tyring to live a new clean life.So much for that. Overall it was a pretty good finale. On my scale of St. Elsewhere (being bad) and Little House On The Prarie blowing up the town (being good) it's somewhere in the middle. The show lingered on way longer than it should have, but at least Jax went out in a blaze of glory. Milo did say in the penultimate episode that he had 3 kids, didn't necessarily say he had custody of them so its possible. The Vic Mackey name could carry a big burden with the reputation of it so it's not impossible to believe he would legally change his name. Truck driving could be a believe profession for him after his ICE deal ran out since it's obvious that he would never get another job in law enforcement again.
  16. Dewey Crowe and Dickie Bennett's haircut are 2 of the best things in the history of this show.
  17. DC a few years ago looked like they would never get a Justice League movie off the ground but now it looks like they're on the right track to get their own Cinematic Universe going. Sony is in a similarly bad position now and they have a long time to go to get everything back on track. But Spider-Man existing as its own Cinematic Universe will be harder to get back on track since Spidey himself being the only bankable character involved since all of the villains and side characters aren't near the same level. I know that GotG did amazing business with previously no one knowing anything about any of the characters but that has the juggernaut MCU franchise behind it.
  18. A year ago when rumblings of fighter uniforms started to come to light I had a stronger opinion on this but now it's like who cares either way. The fighters will still be able to decide which type of shorts and which colors they wear during the fights. Who really cares if it says UFC & Reebok across their butts instead of 15 little ads for Gatorade, Mike's Tire Barn, Condom Depot or whatever. When fights are taking place I couldn't care less if they have a banner behind them when Bruce Buffer is introducing them or what hat or TV shirt they wear during their post fight interview. If they're still getting compensated equal and sometimes better then equal to what they are now without having to spend their free time begging a bunch of different companies to give them money for their training camps then that can only improve the quality of the fights. I can only imagine how hard its for some of the fighters competing on the Fight Pass prelim card to scrounge up sponsorship money when the event isn't even airing on TV in their home country.
  19. I hope that Woodley does leave ATT, then it'll also then avoid a conflict of him being able to fight Lawler in the futue
  20. Probably best for him to not fight a guy weighing in 10 pounds higher then him. But I half expected Cejudo to not make weight going into this card. When you're having trouble making weight early in your career then thats probably not going to be the weight class your career is going to take place long term, so why avoid the inevitable and should've moved up to BW as soon as he signed a UFC contract. Sergio Pettis was wise enough to fight at 135 as soon as he signed his UFC contract.
  21. The card only has 8 total fights on the event, that is the lowest on a PPV card in years. When Soto got moved to the main event why not just have Soto's original opponent Anthony Birchak fight Scott Jorgensen in a BW bout?
  22. i believe that would make him the first person to win a UFC title in their debut. Frank Juarez Shamrock
  23. Good thing that he's fighting in a promotion holding events in Southeast Asia where the testing requirements are probably nonexistent.
  24. Will Vera be fighting at LHW or HW in One FC?
  25. Well, okay that all makes sense then. They should be in August anyways that way they air prior to the next season of episodes.
