Went to the NXT tapings tonight. Very wrestling heavy show with some good matches including one that is right up there with the Cesaro/Zayn matches.

Why wouldn't Dixie stop the ref from counting a second time after she did it earlier in the match? Why didn't she strip AJ of the title after he won it? Dixie is even worse as a authority figure than the Raw computer. As the biggest show of the year for TNA, this was pretty bad. The Angle match was every angle match since 2009. Some awful finishes too. Especially in the Ultimate X and knockouts match. Barbarian's niece is no Jimmy Snuka's daughter.

The best thing about this is Vince Mcmahon is doing commentary as a heel with babyface Jerry Lawler. Vince was sending in guys to take over USWA at the time. I'm guessing this was the first time Vince did heel commentary.

I've been watching a lot of Rey Misterio Jr. matches from the mid 90's lately. Why did Rey only have three matches in Promo Azteca? Was it a WCW decision or was it cause he was injured? Also, did any of those matches air?

He was supposed to wrestle at NXT tonight but said the doctor wouldn't clear him from his concussion.

They must have done some incredible editing for the Santana/Charlotte match to make it look good. I'll have to watch the Hulu version of it. Went to the NXT tapings tonight. It was a very squash match and diva heavy taping. No Sami Zayn or Bo Dallas as they are on the WWE tour of Abu Dubai. Here's some notes from the show:

No mention of Ricardo's insane bump on the announcers table? Del Rio didn't even move the monitors before clipping Ricardo's knee. That had to hurt. Besides the Shield, is 3MB the only heel tag team in WWE? I know it's too early for the Matadores to be fed to the Shield but can't they have them face anyone else? Bring back Hunico/Camacho.

I enjoyed the CWF IPPV even though the feed screwed up during the title match and the Rumble. The Tag title match was real good. Stuttsy sure loves his JR calls. I would have been drunk if I played a drinking game every time he said "Oh my god".

Only thing bad about the Goldust segment was he wasn't wearing a gold suit like he did at the 1997 Slammys. Big E's selling of the GTS needs more love. Haven't seen that good of selling since Orton taking the Sweet Chin Music.

The problem with WWC is they have had a lot of the same talent for most of the year. I wish they would bring back BJ, Carlitos and some of the other guys from the indies. I don't think I can watch too many more Samson Walker/Andy Levine, Invader/Savio or Samoans/Thunder Lightning matches. I'm guessing Thunder/Lightning will be back at the end of the year like they always do.

I'll have my list in before the first. Just need to watch the final 8 matches which I've been holding off on.

It was pretty much sold out so I'd say about 75-100 people. They had big spot lights so they put those on instead of the main amory lights. Reminded me of the Evolve show that took place earlier in the year in the same building.

Went to the NXT house show tonight. Nothing much happened except I finally saw Kalisto. I'm surprised he basically kept the Samuray gimmick but changed the name. Even has the same mask. Also Kassius Ohno was back in his fat gear and lost to a guy named Sawyer Fulton with a reverse suplex. He must have really pissed off HHH to lose to that guy. Fulton's gimmick is great. He's like a bald crazy WCW Maestro. Oh and Bo Dallas/Tyler Breeze had a confrontation. Breeze wanted a title match. Bo said he had to give up his phone. Breeze did and Bo said maybe later. Bo is awesome.

Seth Rollins has a death wish or something. That bump he took into the table was nasty. Then he took Bryan's finish like a champ. Brie Bella isn't gonna be the one to tell off Steph. It's gonna be Maryse after what happened to Miz. Can't wait for that.

The Season finale was so great. Damien Sandow as MC for the wedding, Vincent and Jaret at the wedding, John Cena's gay brother doing Family guy impersonations. Best episode of the season.

Some big things went down on tonights NXT tapings: Pat Patterson and So cal Val were at the show. Val was in the crowd.

I was watching the Undertaker: The streak dvd on Netflix earlier and watched the Flair/Undertaker match from Wresltmania 18. The spot where Arn Anderson gives Taker the spinebuster is still one of my favorites. Anyways, what was the storyline about that match? I remember Taker beating up David Flair at some gym. Was Taker basically Vince Mcmahon's henchman at the time?

Anyone else watch the new Arsenio Hall show tonight? It's pretty much like the old one but hosted by a 57 year old guy. Snoop Dogg ruled it.

Personally I'd like to see Bryan beat The shield, HHH, Vince, Steph and Orton in a match on Smackdown like John cena and Orton used to do to the Raw roster. I mean they had the Shield's first loss on SD, why not Daniel Bryan's comeback?

Sami Zayn and Curt Hawkins had a good 10+ minute match on the last taping. Curt got a lot more offfense in than I thought he would. The last match of the night with Breeze/Ascension/Kruger vs Woods/Parker/Neville/Graves was alright but after seeing those guys multiple times, it got tiring. The finish was good. I also liked Paige/Sasha Banks and Emma/Summer. I thought Summer would be done with NXT but I guess not since she's coming with Fandango on the 12th along with RVD.

I just got back from the NXT tapings and they had a Swagger vs Zayn match that was outstanding. I haven't seen Zayn/Cesaro yet but It will have to do a lot to top Swagger/Zayn for me. Best Swagger match since the Christian series. Also Tyler Breeze is way over the the crowd. Almost Emma like with his reactions. I also had to sit through 3 Ascension matches and 4 Sylverster Lefort or whatever his names is appearances. It was hell but it was worth it to see Swagger/Zayn in person. Oh and there was a Sami Zayn/Bo Dallas/Zeb Coulter interview segment that should air in 2 weeks that was great.

Hopefully a GIF is made of Naomi's attempt at a springboard clothesline. I wasn't expecting that. Khali/Swagger was the best part of the show. Between Cesaro's selling of the chop and Zeb's promo before the match.
