CoD 4: Mile High Club on any harder difficulty. As I turn into an old man, anything that requires button mashing is the hardest thing in the world. -
Witcher 3 is real good. I wasn't hooked at first, but then I got to Velen, the world opened up and it sunk its hooks into me big time. I think I played 10 hours in the past two days. I enjoyed Skyrim, but never bothered to finish it. It was, for me, maybe a little too freeform. I appreciate that this game is a more directed experience. Even a lot of the sidequests seem to serve the main storyline in some way. Also, even on consoles, the game is GORGEOUS. I find myself occasionally just stopping and taking in the sunset. I'm still a bit iffy on the combat. That's the weakest part of the game to me, so far. Maybe I'm just not doing a good job using all the tools at my disposal, though.

I think they popped up in at least one match at the NXT tapings in Dallas. Not sure if it's aired yet, though, as I'm pretty far behind on NXT...

No lie...I'm really happy to be getting Peggle. Not a game I own on any platform other than mobile and a great relaxation game. Okay month for me, I guess!

Bought Witcher 3 (XB1) today after work. Witcher 3 won't install. I see the tiniest scratch possible, but the disc is flawless otherwise. The GameStop where I got it is an hour away. Screw that. Not making that drive for the 11th time this week. So much for my weekend plans. I rarely have gaming time these days and then this shit happens when I do.

We didn't hit HersheyPark much growing up (too expensive even then), but I spent a whole lot of time at Knoebels Grove. Famous in our bubble because it's one of Mick Foley's favorite parks. I feel like I've ridden the Phoenix at least once every year since I was big enough to do so. My favorite wooden coaster that I've ever been on. -
Downloaded Sunset Overdrive. Other than the base defense stuff, which I hated (well...I've only done one so far, to be fair), it seems like a fun game. The movement feels really good, it's oozing with style, and I'm a sucker for a game that has a bunch of really dumb guns. Ill have to wait and see if the game's sense of humor grates, though.

Watching an episode of World Championship wrestling from late-January '91. There's a surprisingly competitive match between Tim Horner and a guy named Sheik Ali Shikar. I haven't watched a lot of this stuff since it aired and I don't remember Shikar at all. Who is he? Did he do anything anywhere? I recognize most of the Center Stage job crew, so this dude stuck out...

Got the 1000g in Lego Avengers. In a week. This is what happens when the lady is off on a business trip, I guess. Won't bother with the DLC, so I'll always be 250g short. That doesn't bother me as a gamer, but it sure does annoy my inner completionist.

Stream died for me the second Steph appeared onscreen. Should have taken it as a sign and gone to bed. Got it running instead. 4am is going to suck...and I did it for this? Oof.

If I had a PS4, I'd be super happy to play Zombi. Always heard it was an underrated game. I should just pick up the WiiU original at some point. The he rest of this, though? Especially in comparison to GWG? Yeesh

Put a few hours in today and I'm really enjoying myself. I didn't at first, because your starting weapons are garbage and I wasn't getting drops. Finally got a nice LMG and everything got way easier. Got the Med wing online and then had a freeze. Decided to call it a night.

And on the other hand, probably why I'm likely to dig it. It's not what I always want to do, but mindless grinding and a loot mechanic is simultaneously relaxing and addicting for me.

Once Evie gets the equivalent of Harry Potter's invisibility cloak, the game is almost comically unfair against any poor sap with a red coat. It's great. I officially run the entire city now. Still in sequence 4, I think. So much fun.

Miz was way more entertaining on the E&C show than I find him week to week. Show definitely moves just fast enough to keep from falling flat. More misses than hits overall so far, but nothing lasts long enough to be truly annoying.
