Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 You can't afford Cutler, he's gone
Jrag Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Tillman is gone. Peppers is gone. They can afford him.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Haha I'd rather have Penis Tillman and Julius Peppers than Quit Boy
Jrag Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Do you realize how much money Peppers makes? And we can't even rush the passer.
Elsalvajeloco Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I will give Romo this much credit: I've always seen him as in that second tier of QBs behind the elite Super Bowl winning guys - kind of in that same class as guys like Schaub. But whereas Schaub can't seem to pull his career out of the death spiral it's fallen into, Romo has always had an uncanny mental toughness where no matter what epic fail befalls him, he can shake it off and go win the next game. That's a pretty rare ability to have. And now I feel dirty for saying nice things about a Cowboy... Also, they can not have to look for a QB every year in the draft like they're the Cleveland Browns. When you have someone (the Joneses) who is not particularly good (average at best) at drafting, the last thing you need is to continue to look for quarterbacks.
Dolfan in NYC Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I'll guarantee someone just lost a fantasy playoff because of that garbage time touchdown. 1
Death From Above Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I'll guarantee someone just lost a fantasy playoff because of that garbage time touchdown. This sort of describes RG III's entire season, so it's nothing new. I got absolutely buttraped by McCown (39.52) and Forte (23.5). It was fun while it lasted.
bink_winkleman Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 But above all the Trestman system WORKS.Trestman, sure, but holy shit is Aaron Kromer all over that offense. Looks just like the Saints. Even to the point of not running when you should be. And watching McCown do that, yeah, he's good, but what a system.EDIT: Brandon Marshall: "We wanna be just like the Saints."
Elsalvajeloco Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Probably should draft a QB Not when you need a TON of safety help, a defensive line, and cornerback depth. In three years probably. They got Ware, Lee, and a couple other guys, but they wasted defensive picks on guys who never actually played a lick.
glfpunk Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Looks at the calendar. Oh yeah it is December that definitely explains it for the Cowboys. The more things change the more Romo stays the same What a stupid take on that game.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Not really. He was outplayed by a backup.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Haha good point, I forgot that McCown is the next starting QB for the Chicago Bears.
glfpunk Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Not really. He was outplayed by a backup. Please. Romo has to win games despite the fact that the opposing team gets to play against the Cowboys defense. 1
