  1. The Apple Watch commercial should just be a pulsating image of the watch, with Seth screaming "brand new APPLE WAAAATTTTTCCCHHESSSS" over and over. I also now wish we could have had Monster Kane in Hawaii skits
  2. Grand Magus, "I, the Jury" Found this on a compilation cd recently and I bloody love it.
  3. Those guys have been fun in Japan. Be a good addition to NXT
  4. Goddamit PWG, just take all my money already. Super Dragon + Sophia Vergara = Internet PPV buys.
  5. That line up is insane. Makes me wish Super Dragon had stayed healthy a few more years to see him against some of these names. Just the idea of him vs Drago, Tommy End or even as a Lucha Underground character seems awesome. Definitely looking forward to this.
  6. is supposed to make his in-ring return tonight. I question his timing. But whose side is he on Josh Matthews? Whose side is he on!!!!
  7. Yeah his son is wrestling as JC Rotten now, and he's not too bad for a garbage match worker.
  8. Dixie wishes she was half as carny as Ian. IWA-MS has been on quite a tear booking-wise this year so Ian would probably turn his nose up at Dixie. "Well, we do death matches in a roller rink, run outside a strip club, have a lucky 21 leech match on KOTDM, book my son in death matches, pay workers in hot dogs, but work with Dixie? Hell no! we gotta maintain some standards!"
  9. "Welcome to Total Non Stop Action Impact Global Force Wrestling! Live, only on our YouTube account!" Rating 1.1
  10. I enjoyed it, I feel like S1 took me a few episodes to get into. Colin Farrell was the best thing about it.
  11. Posted in the Fathers Day Thread today, but heres (from L to R) My Brother, Me, My Pops and My Brother-in-law on my wedding day July 4th 2014.
  12. Happy Fathers Day to my Pops. My Bro, Me, My Pops and My Scotch Brother in Law at my wedding last year. My old man is the man that introduced me to Lawler, Bill Dundee, Paul Heyman, Steve Austin and a million others, a true Southern gent.
  13. I remember when he debuted doing the "hi, I'm Dolph Ziggler" gimmick, I thought the dude was destined for the big time. My problem with Dolph is that he can't do the "big match" formula that WWE needs. Everything Dolph does in-ring feels Mid-Card as hell. Rusev got the big match formula down within 6 months. Going elsewhere would help Dolph no end. Also, Jeff Katz should be paying people double back, because those shows looked terrible in the clips that have been released.
  14. The showed the movie Rush on TV here over the weekend, (spoiler - its not about our favorite luchadore), its about Formula One racing in the 1970's and its great. A German driver being efficiently German, a British playboy being quintessentially British, loud cars and plenty of drama. One of Ron Howard's best works.
  15. Broner in that post fight interview was just the worst. The absolute worst. I feared the worst after that lucky punch in the 12th.
  16. Working class wrestlers. Men that look like they have had a hard life. 99% of wrestlers today look like they have come straight from the set of a reality TV show. I think that's part of the charm of the Briscoes, Ambrose, the Wyatts, Bryan and Owens is that they look more like the man on the street compared to the guys that could only be wrestlers or jersey shore-extras.
  17. Watched the Don West video. Stood up and chanted "you still got it" and "welcome back" for 10 minutes. Now, if you'll excuse me I must go Bentley Bounce.
  18. Simple 101 booking being viewed as outdated. Hey, WWE, you booked a show that packed in 1,000,000 people into the Astrodome just buy having a simple sympathetic babyface body slam an evil foreign giant. Here's a reason for that... It works... Faces v Heels. Faces made to be likeable, Heels being dicks. We need to move on from the 90s and cool heels and dickhead Babyfaces.
  19. He ain't no Machine Gun Kelly that's for sure.
  20. This episode was brought to you by 'everything dies' by Type O Negative. Honestly might as well have had that on loop in the background.
  21. It's not Bono, it's Shane McGowan "And the boys of the NYPD choir were singing Galway Bay, and the bells were ringing out for Christmas Day"
  22. Taylor Hawkins is the greatest frontman in waiting ever, he's got a great voice. Just watched their set from Rock Am Ring this year and he does 'stay with me' better than Rod Stewart.
  23. 36 isn't old?....... Is it? I've lived in Scotland for 8 years now and my wife's father has just introduced me to Glayva. It's like Whiskey mixed with Corn Syrup. It's bloody delicious. No wonder Scottish people like to drink!
  24. I've watched nearly every Dusty vid posted here over the last few days and every single one of them has made me smile, cry or emote whatever the man wanted me to. That is the enduring legacy of the man. The greatest performer of them all.
