Elsalvajeloco Posted August 13, 2022 Author Posted August 13, 2022 I wouldn't advise throwing lead uppercuts but if they work...they work. 1
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 13, 2022 Author Posted August 13, 2022 So yeah, Dilano Taylor just stopped Rory MacDonald in a notable upset.
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 13, 2022 Author Posted August 13, 2022 Josh Quinlan: I just had a KO of the Year contender. Tyson Nam: Hold my beer.
Jiji Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Goiti had absolutely zero respect for Neiman Gracie's power. Hilarious. Quinlan had Witt turning into Sam Alvey on the canvas. 1 1
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 13, 2022 Author Posted August 13, 2022 Angela Hill: World's Best .500 fighter 2
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 13, 2022 Author Posted August 13, 2022 Hell of a fight and Angela Hill gets off the schneid. 1
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 13, 2022 Author Posted August 13, 2022 GM3 should probably get credit for a KO and a SUB there. 1
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 14, 2022 Author Posted August 14, 2022 Stoppage that started with a body shot...I'll allow it.
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 14, 2022 Author Posted August 14, 2022 Quality showing from Yazmin Jauregui in a very fun slugfest.
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 14, 2022 Author Posted August 14, 2022 I thought Nate Landwehr was KO'd. Then, he wasn't.
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 14, 2022 Author Posted August 14, 2022 Nate Landwehr is definitely a frontrunner for the 2022 Chris Lytle Ultra Scrappy Ultra Tough White Dude Award.
Jiji Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) Onama is the man. turned this on at the right time, just as this fight was starting. Edited August 14, 2022 by Jiji
Jiji Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Onama was doing better when throwing straight/technical even if he's gassed. 1
Jiji Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Up there with Henderson/Shogun for all timer sloppy exciting fights. 1
Jiji Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Shit, gassed was completely insufficient to describe Onama's physical and mental state. He was Phil Baroni Gassed.

Jiji Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Cruz can't take a punch from the top of the division guys and while he's still good defensively, he's obviously lost a lot of agility and doesn't even use the same sort of footwork for the most part. Probably best he retires. Great fighter though. He pretty much has to fight perfectly for 25 minutes to win fights now. Doesn't have power and can't make a mistake or it's nighty night. 1
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 14, 2022 Author Posted August 14, 2022 Just now, Jiji said: Cruz can't take a punch from the top of the division guys and while he's still good defensively, he's obviously lost a lot of agility and doesn't even use the same sort of footwork for the most part. Cruz was doing good work, but that felt like a matter of when and not if based on the points your laid out. Once you lose an ounce of speed and you can't be Nicolino Locche out there, you are gonna live and die by your chin. That's tough for any older fighter who has been around for a long time. In the immortal words of Mobb Deep, Chito Vera rocked Dom so hard that Dom stabbed his own brain with his nose bone.
The Natural Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Gutted Dominick Cruz lost. Sucks Cruz lost years of his career through repeat injuries specifically the ACLs. Two dream Cruz fights for me were vs. Jose Also and vs. Frankie Edgar.

John E. Dynamite Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 VIOLENCE from ONE FC's Amazon debut. I don't even want to spoil it, but the main event was scintillating and the Muay Thai was absolutely gnarly. Check this one out ASAP. 2
jaedmc Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 Yeah Demetrious Johnson is still that dude. Him framing a wobbly Moraes's face up for that knee stone cold.
