Damn it. 63 is way too young to go.  RIP

I know that "Ever Fallen In Love?" is THE most basic Buzzcocks pick, but it's such an A-1 perfect song, and such a perfect gateway into a band I probably wouldn't have explored without hearing that gateway drug, that I have to share it:

I  heard tell from a guy who back in 1977 was seriously worried that his friends would steal his copy of the Spiral Scratch EP. So he superglued it to his turntable. Then bought another copy so he could listen to the other side as well.

My favorite Buzzcocks song.  Pete Shelley was awesome.

Oh man did I ever smash through Singles Going Steady, what an awesome album. I saw them live about a decade ago, it wasn't very good - pensioners filling their boots type stuff. So glad I did now though.

Harmony In My Head would be my contribution to this.

A friend of mine got me Singles for Xmas one year; I listened to it nonstop. Also, they are noted for playing the first recorded D-beat on a record (can't remember the song though, I think it's off Spiral Scratch though). "Harmony" was gonna be my pick, love that song so much. RIP

EDIT: Found it
