RIPPA
Just to update on my timeline The first two rings voting will stay open till Noon I will post the next two rings when I get to my desk (so probably around 11 am since I have morning info sessions to work) Final rings will open till tomorrow so Stage One will finish by this weekend and Stage Two would start on Monday (assuming I can figure out bracketing) Also - all votes matter since the final two teams advance via highest vote total so they need support. Plus since the bracketing will at least be somewhat based on results - you definitely want to make sure your vote gets in.
Matt D
I might have voted for Fuji/Tanaka if the brackets were right.
Spritenaut 32
There are several people listed that I completely forgot were deceased. When I saw the Lightning Express listed, my first thought was "how'd I forget Tim Horner is dead." And I completely forgot Billy Joe Travis died 10+ years ago. Had to think for a minute before I remembered him. One of my favorite southern heels.

RIPPA
Fair Warning - I may or may not go all sorts of wacky WCW booking and slightly tweak a rule because of one of the rings. I haven't 100% decided yet. We shall see what happens when today's polls close.

J.T.
If we were talking about anyone else other than Vader and Bigelow in the opposition, I'd really be bummed. I have watched Vader moonsault vids on the YouTubes to help ease the pain. They are theraputic.
Brian Fowler
The problem for Rose/Somers is that the other team had Vader on it.

Parties
Preface: I am a cranky, teeth-gritted serious person, void of joy or moderation. The whole notion of voting for a team like the Megapowers or Vader/Bigelow just because they're the kayfabe stars or because you like one or both guys individually seems totally wack to me. It's tag wrestling. The whole point is that the sum is supposed to be greater than the parts, and instead you get the usual DVDVR 80s/90s WWE apologist reasoning of "Everything Randy Savage ever touched was perfect because he's Randy Savage." Hollywood Blondes over Los Brazos is pathetic.
RIPPA
Just to make my life easier - the semis and then the Finals and 3rd Place match will be done next week. I got shit to do and I know folks are already fleeing for the holiday.
J.T.
Blondes beat Hansen / Brody for the Bronze and it is starting to rain outside. Even God weeps at this travesty.
Brian Fowler
Man, the Blondes were awesome. So... Is it time to find out if Terry Gordy is the best dead wrestler ever?
RIPPA
So... Is it time to find out if Terry Gordy is the best dead wrestler ever? He's not - though he is in my Top 10 But I pretty much never going to run a straight singles tournament (especially with the dead) because then you really are just going to get a popularity contest. Plus - with this board it would be a Andre/Savage final with Matt yelling that we all disrespected Buddy Rose
Matt D
Savage and Buddy are actually a fascinating compare/contrast. They were born less than a month apart in November, 1952, and I'm fairly certain that there weren't two other guys of their generation who thought more about pro wrestling, even if they got at it in completely different ways.
