  1. Is there any earthly reason that Demolition hasn't been inducted yet?
  2. I really don't understand why companies keep putting those two against each other, have they ever had a good match together? And if they haven't, does anyone really think they're going to start now?
  3. I feel bad for my part in hijacking this thread, so here's this sweet machine
  4. I believe he was going through a divorce/crisis of faith deal at the time. He might have been drunk, but I don't think Stang was the pilled up type. Sting admitted to using/abusing painkillers and muscle relaxers in that period of time. It's one of the things that led him to becoming a born again Christian.
  5. The way I understood it, he was blitzed out of his gourd for that match, and that's what the complaint was. I believe it was Bischoff who said something along the lines of, "Look at his eyes during his entrance, he is clearly under the influence". Makes his future debacle of a match with Jeff Hardy all the more interesting.
  6. I read that last part as "bathroom dancing" and I can't stop laughing.
  7. That just reminded me of how disappointed I am that Curtis Axel and Mick Foley never teamed in a Beverly Hills Cop gimmick.
  8. I believe the unnamed guy in your example is Robbie Ellis, who if I recall, did a Sliced Bread #2 in Chikara.
  9. That seems like a good fit, with a couple minor changes. An over-the-top patriotic gimmick would be a good addition, and give him a nudge in the direction of having an actual niche.
  10. I'm sure alot would agree, but a stripped down set would be great. That will never happen since "bigger and louder is better".
  11. Do you have a gif of this? It sounds fun. Not sure if its because I'm watching on my phone but that looks like a video game glitch.
  12. The office wasn't happy with Beefcake's level of overness with the push he was getting, so he got moved aside to the Ron Bass thing, and Ultimate Warrior, who was over performing with his push, got the nod instead. The 30 second thing was to establish Warrior as an unstoppable force leading into his reign.
  13. Had to have been early in his run. In the "character sketches" from the 90's that they had on WWE.com some time back, those were one of the prototypes, along with a sweet bolero hat. Speaking of rare/weird gear, anyone remember this version of the Repo Man?
  14. I'm not doubting that Titus is a valuable commodity, but I feel like he would be better suited in a non-wrestling capacity. The most success he will find will be after his in ring days are done.
  15. It's not like this is an isolated incident, how many matches has he actually won since the call up?
  16. I believe so. I haven't heard any specifics, but that's why Titus was sans Young at Survivor Series (in what was supposed to be Cesaro's spot)
  17. I think Breeze will be fine, eventually. Anybody can be rebuilt if they want to put in the effort. It's just disappointing to see a new face elevated to such a cold roster and become their whipping boy.
  18. Problem here is, too many guys on the roster don't have one good finishing move, except Sheamus and maybe Reigns. It doesn't help that 16 different people do superkicks and most old finishes aren't believable. That's a tough spot. My solution is to let Kevin Owens stay exactly as he is and be pushed to World Champ. Why the heck not, what do they have to lose? Insert guy of your choice for KO and it isn't any less true.
  19. Paige seems like a terrible idea to put in a ladder match. She's a danger to herself enough in regular matches trying to pull off moves/spots that she really shouldn't.
  20. I just don't understand the logic in jobbing Breeze right after he cleanly beat Ziggler at Survivor Series.
  21. Worst ratings since 97, when they were getting trounced by Nitro. As far a being the highest rated on USA, that may be true, but their ad rates are most likely lower than most of the other programming.
  22. The problem with the powers that be is the same as any company that has had the same people in charge for far too long: they are set in their ways, and will stay the course no matter what. And just like every other business with that model, they will continue to fall. So "business" outside of creative and ratings is good; the ratings took a while to catch up to the bland and uninspired creative, you think stock prices will keep up when the TV show is drawing sub 2 ratings? They had a perfect opportunity to try something, anything fresh or unique, and did the most boring thing possible.
  23. Any guesses as to who will be in the 5 on 5 match? I'll say New Day/Stardust/Breeze vs. Usos/Neville/Cesaro/Ziggler
  24. This may be a weird insight, but I like how they often show the guys amongst "regular" people. It gives a great juxtaposition how huge even the "smaller guys" are in comparison to regular folk. I've always thought it was weird that someone like, say Billy Gunn, he isn't considered particularly large amongst other wrestlers, but if you are next to him in person he is massive.
  25. When did Undertaker decapitate Chris Von Erich, Jay Leno and Stuttering John?
