I think people put too much stock in the Tokyo Sports Awards. They are fun to look at but they never are legit, they like to go with what is popular or different. Clearly the tag team of the year is the super bizarre one this year, no way is that justified, but they love them some Onita.

The DVDVR pay league is a fun mess. My basic math tells me to make the playoffs I need to of course win, and McFadden has to get about four more points than Dan Bailey. Don't ask me to explain, my head hurts.

You guys like talking about bad referee calls, that call in the UNC/Clemson game with the phantom offsides was among the worst I have seen all year. They weren't within a yard of being offsides, I have no idea what the referee was looking at.

If Akebono wants to go to a promotion that won't have TV and runs one show every four months, I encourage that.

It is a borderline call, but Lions fans should be more mad about, you know, a Hail Mary working. Which is inexcusable in professional football (I can buy it in college maybe twice a year).

He wasn't white in this case, may want to wait until the facts come out before making baseless assumptions. Not that that should matter in a mass murder, but people from all sides using this to immediately push an agenda is a bit much. At least wait until we know what happened.

I have mixed feelings about it. I almost hate watching college football now as I swear I watched one that had four straight plays that the referees looked at replay. It just slows the game down to a crawl, if every penalty call/non-call was challenged the games would drag. As much as I think the referees are bad (I don't actually mind most the things they do as I think its normal keeping 'human error' in mind and that we wouldn't know either without super slow motion sometimes, but the time and rulebook mess-ups are a bit over the top), I don't want games lasting over four hours each either.

He'd have say but not ultimate say, the most he would have is a solid way to express his opinion since he is on the board. But owners can always overrule presidents I still think its work anyway, I mean its wrestling.

They get them eventually, I've had items delayed quite a bit but I always get what I ordered at some point. I already have my La Sombra shirt so I'm good.

No offense to Jags or Titan fan(s) but tonight's game couldn't possibly be less interesting to a casual fan. I know every team had to get one but some of these match-ups are a bit lacking.

You have to give HHH credit, he is really trying to sign talent from wherever they can get it. So far it is just making NXT better but hopefully down the road it will lead to a shift on RAW/SD/PPV too. Maybe five years down the road but at least there is some effort there by someone to bring in fresh wrestlers.

That's the nicest thing Mayweather has ever said about someone he was 'feuding' with, I mean it wasn't perfect but still. He took the oddly high road on that one. -

Apparently they are hoping Fitz can play and that it is just a 'pain tolerance' issue. Geno seems to be healthy at the moment.

I'll assume its an angle until its proven otherwise (Marufuji leaving because Go comes back). Poor All Japan, it must be an epic mess behind the scenes right now, what is odd is that this is a slow but still major exodus instead of the usual mass exodus we see in Japan sometimes. If Suwama for any reason decides to leave ever they may as well just close up shop.

Joanna said she didn't really want to fight again until UFC 200 anyway. Yeah, I am going to say that's not all too realistic. Unless they go four title fights deep on that show, she is more likely to be fighting on the Sunday card than the day before. She isn't getting one of the top spots on that show unless JJ/Gadelha becomes this hot commodity that needs to be saved for IFW. If she isn't back by May, I would be very surprised. I know everyone wants to be on UFC 200 (especially if stuff begins to fall into place), but everyone isn't going to be on UFC 200. Would they put a title fight as the main event of the prelim? I know that isn't normal but if it was a big night and it could get them more eyeballs that may then order the PPV.

I have no issue with that. If he needed 300 and it could be stopped at a crucial moment in the 4th quarter that may be an issue, but he will get it on their first drive so they may as well go ahead and acknowledge it.

If they were smart they would milk it a bit, not set up a rematch ASAP. Either Rousey will be angry and want a rematch immediately, or she'll take the time as not being champ and take the break she talked about. In the meantime Holm can go against Tate, she shouldn't need a big wait since I am not sure if Rousey hurt her at all.
