My PS3 is dead. Any suggestions?
Kevin Wilson replied to RandomAct's topic in COMPUTERS & GAMES & TECH
Just not a 360, had two of those suckers RRD on me. Original PS3 still pluggin' along, knock on wood. -
Aw come on, that was funny. And a reference only like six people would get.

I think the point is that he is volunteering his time to help rookies. It doesn't say the rookies are required to get in the ring with him and he chases them around the ring breaking their limbs, I am sure they want to learn from one of the best wrestlers in that style of wrestling. They are men making men decisions, they will be ok. Wrestling is painful, if a wrestler can't handle being stretched by Suzuki they probably should become cooks or something.

Wrestlers aren't humans. Did you check out their match for the IR's main belt as well? It took place earlier on the same day. Its not quite as good but still worth a watch. Yea I need to, I'm slowly getting there. I was hoping the IR match came first, I dunno if after this match they would feel like doing another one on the same day. Poor Fujimoto has been wrestling with a mouth protector thing since that match.

JWP 12/28/14 started averagely, but the main event of Nakjima/Fujimoto was choice. Lots of brutal stuff, although Fujimoto's mouth did get busted open from a Nakajima punt if you don't like that type of thing. Plus it had one of my favorite moves, doublestomp off the top to the floor! Wrestlers aren't humans.

OK hardcore players, time for my standard question if you don't mind. How fun is the game to: 1. Play by yourself 2. Play co-op with just one other person As I have probably mentioned before I am not a hardcore gamer (I play maybe 15 hours a week but I spread it between different games), and I don't like playing with random strangers online. But I do play with my brother so one other person would sometimes be available if it is needed for some missions. So playing solo or in pairs, could I still get the maximum enjoyment or are there some missions that require parties?

WRESTLE KINGDOM 9 in TOKYO DOME (with Spoilers!)

It is kinda amazing that just putting one New Japan PPV on American PPV and suddenly wrestling fans here are going nuts. It helped the show was fantastic, but across the board you just hear about puroresu websites getting more hits, puroresu torrents (no I don't encourage using torrents) being popular, etc. I don't know if it will last more than a week but it certainly helped introduce New Japan to a lot of new people. Not that my site is the pinnacle of puroresu greatness (or is it?), but Sunday I had the most visits I've had to my site in its ten year history.... until Monday, which had even more. Quite fascinating, I mean in today's age of internet, twitter, etc. how did so many people not know that New Japan was awesome? -
Top two are www.purolove.com (I mean, its still the best) and http://keepingthespiritalive.tumblr.com. Cagematch.net is what I use when trying to get information on a wrestler. I'm kinda lazy but those are the only three puroresu sites I use and I get everything I need I mean my site is awesome but I don't do gossip and results, I find it too mind numbingly boring to report that kind of stuff. But I adore the people that do.

Track down Tabe, I dunno if he still comes over to the wrestling part of the board but he is the UWF master from back in the day. -
A separate topic, but Suh's contract is up and the $$$ is too high to franchise him. Speculation is that he will want #1 DT money which isn't in the Lions' budget so he will sign elsewhere.

Some of my favorite moments, in GIF form (spoilered just because GIFs can slow shit down): I did more, but those are my favorites. Lots of memorable moments though which you always want to see in any event. -
Don't waste your time buddy, you can't reason with Cowboy fans

Up to Jae, last year not a lot of people participated so I dunno if its worth the hassle for him. If he doesn't want to anyone is welcome to

WRESTLE KINGDOM 9 in TOKYO DOME (with Spoilers!)
Kevin Wilson replied to leglockwrestling's topic in JAPAN
I have finished my incredibly long official review! I watched it live this morning and then again to do the play by play, so I can confirm it was an awesome event. I thought Nakamura/Ibushi was quite a bit better than the main but it was quite a bit better than any match I can remember in recent memory so that isn't much of an insult. Great show, whether its with American or Japanese commentators I definitely recommend it. -
So I decided to ask Kellie Skater since I mean she had to know, and they are Tawashis. They are really hard and apparently painful (at least for wrestling purposes) scrubbing brushes, here is more of a description of them from wikipedia. Problem solved!
-
Unrelated, but when did Brock Lesnar start doing Hardees commercials?
-
Praying for bad Romo to return. He is way overdue. From having Stafford on my FFL team all season I don't have a lot of faith in the Lions putting up 30, so they need to shut down the Cowboy's offense as much as possible.
-
That game went as predicted. Even if they had whoever was hurt (don't all teams have injuries? Indy is without Bradshaw, Richardson, and Wayne was really banged up), Bengals weren't beating Indy in Indy. They just don't have it in them. They were closer here then when they played earlier in the season anyway.
-
I've watched enough Stardom this year that I should have asked awhile ago. What's with the little brown fuzzy balls that are used in at least one match every card? Why do they hurt? What are they? Important life questions.

Ishii made Makabe look interesting and not suck. I love Ishii. Not happy he lost to him but it was a fun match. -

I am more distracted by that giant spotlight that is facing the camera into the ring they sometimes turn on, but the scrolling is annoying too. Also saddened that the crowd marked out for Jarrett's guitar shot, clearly they did not watch much WCW. -

I plan on watching it later with Ross on commentary, I just can't imagine it being good. What made JR so good was his knowledge and his passion. Unless he did tons of studying he won't know every wrestler and their moves/gameplan/etc. and how do you have passion for a promotion you are probably watching an entire event for the first time ever? Those that watch the US version I'd be interested in your thoughts, if he does well I may try to show it to my non-puroresu wrestling friends. -

I know its early but so far the stream has been 100% solid, which is more than I can say for the WWE PPV streams (which aren't bad, they tend to buffer once or twice per match for me). -

I am guessing (hoping?) all the admins are asleep, so since people are watching this live - I personally don't have an issue with people posting as the show progresses about the show, but don't do things like just "WOW!" or "this sucks", etc. Make it a complete thought about a match, a general rule of thumb is your comment should make sense even if someone isn't watching the event. I'll delete posts that aren't complete just so the thread doesn't become overrun.
