Alexa/Charlotte was terrible. Bayley did reasonably well with every opponent she had when she was champ in NXT. No one came out of feuds with her worse than going in. The matches with Bayley were first time Carmella and Alexa showed they could even be remotely decent in the ring. Just throwing this out there, but I don't think Alexa is bad. I do think she is rather average most of the time and hasn't come close to being consistent enough to get the push that she has gotten. I don't think Carmella is bad either. I do think that like Alexa she has been overpushed, and her current reign has her working against her strengths since she hasn't really developed enough elsewhere to warrant being champ.

I miss Io using that as her finisher. I hope she brings it back occasionally in WWE.

It was HHH who supposedly pushed for it back then.

I liked the stuff with Thrawn, the Mandalorians/Sabine, and seeing the Rebellion fully form. Maul's arc was definitely disappointing though I did like the idea of him wanting to turn Ezra, and always enjoyed him calling Ezra his apprentice.

How long did they try for Yano as a serious wrestler after Choshu killed his drunk character during his short return stint as booker?

I finally went ahead and finished this over the course of a week or so. It is quite good and the type of thing that I can see getting a person just a pinch dusty eyed if they are the type (I am not).

You underestimate Nia too much, and Rousey already showed her potential at WM. Really it was about what I expected. I can see the two having something even better a year down the line with a more experienced Rousey.

The stuff with Alexa and Ronda was nice. Seth losing the belt to Dolph was bs. It should have been Drew who won the title. I like the idea of Lashley vs. Reigns. Both showed just a bit of cocky prick for a couple of moments and it was nice. I am sad to see Revival sacrificed to them. They deserve better. Sasha and Bayley hopefully had their final break down and we can just get them trying to murder each other for the next six months to a year before the NXT Horsewomen come together to battle the MMA Horsewomen. I didn't realize how much Bo sounded like his brother until seeing him imitate Bray. That was a fun segment. Regardless of who wins between B-team and Matt/Bray I really need AoP to come in and murder them. Constable Corbin continues to be fun. It was nice seeing him get a big victory and not look like a hump against Braun.

Was it a callback to that or was Mayu trying to one up Saki Kashima?

I always thought Nia should have been on SDL. She could have had a good reign there as a monster before losing to Becky. I also really want Nia vs Naomi. I dug their interactions in SS and the RR.

Its her biggest issue. Her best stuff is pretty much with the people she isn't afraid she will murder which goes back to the whole Bayley, Sasha, Asuka matches thing. Those are the opponents she doesn't hold back against too much. I was pleasantly surprised to see Ronda added to the list.

How the is it you people have somehow forgotten Nia's matches with Bayley, Sasha, and Asuka? Most of those matches were better than the Rousey match and had Nia looking just as much like a monster, if not more.

Its more a case of people like Bliss as a character while not really caring for her matches outside the occasional impressive performance that shows she has potential but isn't really there yet. I've always hated that she was champ. She had no business ending Becky's or Bayley's reigns, nor the long runs as champ.

Bryan/Cass was pretty solid and easily Cass's best match. Rollins/Elias was decent from what I paid attention to. I'm not sure what the fuck Lashley/Sami was. Women's MITB was good though I hate that Alexa won. Carmella/Asuka was ok until the ridiculously bad finish that felt like it took forever. Carmella is a terrible champ and I have no idea what the end game for is. Maybe hell freezes over and Becky beats her for the belt. I skipped Roman/Jinder. AJ/Nakamura was great by the end though I'm kind of pissed Nakamura didn't win. Not really sure where they can go with him at this point. Nia/Rousey was good and possibly MOTN. I'm glad Rosuey is one of the people Nia doesn't feel the need to hold back against. Rousey looked way better than she should have with the reactions. I'm torn on the finish. I'm happy Nia didn't lose to Rousey, but pissed to see Alexa is champ again. Men's MITB was god fun. very happy to see Braun win.

The UW vs. Oney/Burch was good stuff. Dream/Riccochet was good though maybe not quite the level I was hoping for after Dream's last big singles match. Shayna/Cross was the worst match on the card and still managed to be pretty solid with a good story with how much Nikki threw Shayna off her game. So happy they went with Nikki smiling as she was going out. Black/Lars was damn good. Even that botch at the end didn't hurt as much as it could have. Knew Lars had more going for him than people were giving him credit for. I also think this was one Black's better performances with the leg sell and his reactions to Lars catching him at every Black Mas attempt. That said, I'm totally ready for Ciampa as champ. Ciampa/Gargano was great. I loved Ciampa spiting on Johnny's ring before throwing it away. Gargano just losing it was fantastic and I loved how it eventually caught up to him with the finish. The next time these face off it better be for the NXT title.

I don't remember any such talk about Anderson and Balor. I recall it being known that Anderson wanted to eventually go to WWE. He was even asking Bernard/Albert/Bloom for advice. I don't think it was a secret that Balor wanted to go either.

Its just for the MYC. Stardom is fine. they have a good sized roster and 3-4 very talented women stepping up to eventually take the top positions in the coming years. You should check out Io's matches with Momo Watanabe from this year. They are great. For Meiko you should check out her matches with kairi, Io, Aja Kong, & Chihiro Hashimoto.

I never saw a thing of O'Reilly until he hit NXT. At the very least in WWE he just hasn't been super impressive until recently.
