Raw Is JUSTICE FOR THE REVIVAL - 2/11/2019
Eivion replied to Dolfan in NYC's topic in WWE PROGRAMMING
Enjoyed the triple threat tag. Dug the general story. That six-man tag went on way too damn long. Mean Charly is still around going off of that Becky interview. Poor Ruby looked terrible the way no one has really given her shot. Even her match was interrupted for a Becky/Ronda faceoff. Speaking of which, there was actually just a bit too much Becky tonight. There was really no need for that many segments of her questioning to apologize. Also the apology was total bullshit. That made no damn sense and did more to kill the crowd than anything else. Becky's apology should have been immediately followed by her punching HHH and/or Steph in the face. It would have also made way more sense of Vince coming out to replace Becky with Charlotte. At this point I'm still not convinced we are getting a triple threat. WM is still two months away and there is one more ppv before then to sell. Feels like the obvious place to do Charlotte vs. Becky for the spot. While I do think a triple threat has always been in serious consideration at this point it feels more like they are playing with fans expectations the way they have kept Charlotte involved. Revival vs. Roode/Gable was fantastic and an easy MOTYC that will only lose ground so quickly in the next couple of months because it didn't have the good build and hot audience it so well deserved. I have always felt that aside from rumors of Ronda leaving post WM, they should totally go for a WM 13 style finish. That way they could do a big money rematch for the next women's ppv. -
FEBRUARY 2019 WRESTLING DISCUSSION.

Supposedly the style of wrestling Vince likes most actually was Finlay's so its not really impossible that age was the biggest factor there. -
Those are interesting choices.

I think I had an account here in 04, but never really used it since I was kind of new using message boards at the time and people here and everywhere scared me. I ended up mostly on Smarkschoice and SSS until a year or two before the last big switch/change for the board.

I would guess he is using AEW to leverage for that match with HHH he has wanted for a long time now. -
He is an ok singles wrestler, solid tag wrestler. A run outside of WWE or even a return to NXT/PC as a heel could probably see him grow a decent bit as a singles wrestler.
-
Maybe its because I don't watch ROH often, but Klein looked generally ok in Stardom. Iwatani winning isn't to surprising with the MSG show coming up and Stardom having a show just the day before as well. It helps give the WOH belt a little more cred and gives them a potential good match at MSG depending on who Iwatani defends against.
-
I just wish they would bring it back in some form.
-
I'd prefer they give the Batman Beyond route a try and cast either Eastwood or Keaton as older Bruce Wayne. This seems like an odd choice. I'm curious if they go into unrevealed history about them. Kind of hope Johns gets some involvement.

Astonishing X-men: Until Our Hearts Stop. Fun little read all around. its a pity it got cancelled so quickly. There was decent potential in the team and story though the wrapped it up better than I would have guessed. The annual focusing on the, at the time, surviving original five and Xavier in his new body a solid little story if a bit depressing. Not sure I read more than the first issue or two before this, but it makes me a bit curious to go back and read up on this darker Xavier running around in Fantomex's body. Immortal Hulk: Or is he Both? Enjoyable read. I'm digging the horror vibes and inner look at Banner. Reminds me that I really need to try and read the PAD run at some point, probably sooner than later since this seems to build off it from my understanding.

I like him in tag teams and that Summerslam match with Henry where he got destroyed outside and lost by count out. -
Who?

That is a darn shame. I thought they had been improving with each season. I enjoyed them all, but especially those last two.

Carrillo is a 205Live guy.

Liger vs. Breeze to me isn't so strange anymore after we got Meiko Satomura in the MYC. -
What is the general opinion on Apex Legends?

I don't recall that ever. Same with the Masters better than Owen talk. I remember Mark Henry better than HBK. The other two feel like someone picking up on someone making a crazy statement once or twice that was promptly ignored by everyone else. -
I'm kind of fien with WWE trying to set up NXT in a few countries, but I still think Japan and Mexico is pushing it too far with the strength of the scene in both places. Its just not necessary and will likely be detrimental to any relationships they have with promotions in the area.
-
To be fair part of that is likely more on Ronda wanting to be liked opposed to WWE booking. Hopefully she learns to embrace the inner heel sooner than later like Shayna did.

I have heard this one with Bea, but it seems unlikely. She is currently with Ospreay and if she is living in Japan with him I can see her trying to maybe get more bookings with Stardom who currently have a relationship with ROH. One of the Owens was actually just on NXT UK a week or two ago. Not to say she or they both joined, probably weighing their options I imagine.
-
Kay Lee Ray is signed to NXT UK.
-
Yuka Sakazaki is contracted to TJPW/DDT. She is one of the talents from there I hear good things about from those who do watch regularly. Nyla Rose has been a regular in Japan for 2-3 years usually working for Marvelous and Sendai. Not seen enough of her to really comment. Aja is contracted Oz Academy though seemingly can do whatever the fuck she wants.
-
She was ok during her brief Stardom tour.

Infinity War and Endgame do seem like a good reason to set up SWORD. That said, I don't want them to touch unless they are giving us a solid Abigail Brand.
