There was some kind of Aces & Eights battle royal that I don't remember the purpose of but I do remember Christy Hemme announcing it as being scheduled for one fall. Still more knowledgeable than Vince Russo. But, does Hemme know how to overcharge $98.00 for Rochelle, Rochelle?

All jokes aside, is there any known reason as to why HBK was given decent amounts of time off during his initial run? I mean, in an era where everybody was driven into the ground travel and booking-wise, he seemed to have quite a few breaks. Obviously we know the whole steroid deal in '93, but other than that, Vince seemed to cut him a break more so than other talent. Then again, I could just be remembering things differently.

Moolah's entrance is absolutely something that Vince would come up with. The team of Benoit/Eaton makes me wish we had gotten Benoit and Scorpio added into a six-man tag rematch following When Worlds Collide. After watching Vader and Race walk out to Vader's boss theme, it made me realize that Brock/Heyman are a modern day version of that duo. I also wish that we could hurry up and invent the time machine so that we get to witness Lesnar vs '93 Vader. Is this the event that Bret mentions in his book where Stu supposedly tore something in his knee?

After the '01 WM17 go-home show, they aired Rey/Dean from the '96 post-BATB Nitro, that saw the Cruiserweight Title change hands. I had actually forgotten about this match and only remembered Rey getting tossed into the trailer. Good match. Killer top-rope gut buster.
