  1. Why on earth is Cesaro upset? He's Swiss, not German. His boys just pulled off a draw with Brazil
  2. One of these men drew the biggest crowd in wrestling history, one them drew the most bought PPV in wrestling history, the other one is Triple H.
  3. There should be a rule that if you fail to make weight your next fight is automatically at the next weight class up.
  4. TBH I don't know why Al Snow doesn't hit up Cornette to do commentary for OVW. It's in Louisville and as long as they're presenting something vaguely resembling episodic Southern 'rasslin, I can't see Cornette wanting a ridiculous paycheque for doing it. There's a market out there for it. Does Dean Hill still do ring announcing/commentary there?
  5. I've said for ages that the whole concept of a weekly Observer is obsolete in this day and age. Just print the news, and articles, as and when. There's no need for Dave to be recapping RAW and other mundanities at this point, one of his minions is more than capable of doing that. Dave should concentrating on business analysis and the lengthy articles such as obituaries and historical features.
  6. Feinstein had Curt Hennig set up do a shoot around the same time but on the day, the weather was nice and Curt decided to blow it off and go to the beach instead.
  7. I have (for PS4) and it's bad. I'm comparing directly to UFC 2 which I played loads, and the graphics are worse, the fighters move really stiffly and awkwardly, the controls are clunky and the changes make no sense, you now have to press L1 & R1 to block low, and both punch and kick together to do an uppercut. The menu screens are less intuitive than the ones on UFC2, all the Bellator fighters are (obviously) out of the game, as are some of the legends, the new additions are mostly nobodies apart from Ngannou, they really should have added to the legends to make up for this, Tito, the Shamrocks and Couture at the very least should be in the game. People are saying the career mode is improved but I have no interest in playing it since the actual mechanics are so bad. I requested a refund within a couple of hours of playing it, it's a major, major disappointment.
  8. For some reason I always remember Gary Capetta announcing him as "the Sexiest Man in WCW". RIP Z-Man.
  9. No "Group of Death" this year, with Germany's group being the closest to it with 3 fairly evenly matched teams fighting for 2nd place.
  10. Malcolm Young of AC/DC has passed away. RIP.
  11. Are the women still banned from wrestling in the UAE?
  12. Before the recent events people were mooting the idea of Bisping vs Silva II at the London event in March. Have UFC ever done a rematch in the same venue as the original fight?
  13. Any idea of the year of that convention? Judging by the Von Erich boys ages, I'm thinking early 70s?
  14. Is that Gordon Solie on the next table across? Watts' wife was quite the looker. Is that the one who got ownership of the Mid-South library?
  15. Is Bret Hart's book the best selling non-WWE wrestling book of all time? Or has one of Jericho's sold more?
  16. The end of the last episode was a bit of a turn up for the books. With Simon's shows being so character driven, when dramatic events occur they have far more impact than in shows that are plot driven and have crazy stuff having in every episode.
  17. You'd have to deliberately ensure you never had sex with the same woman twice, other than the one you're married to, to come even close. And Ric was only really on the road as NWA champion travelling the country for about 8 years, since the early 90s he was in Charlotte and working a limited schedule.
  18. Very sad news, he always seemed so young, strong and healthy. RIP.
  19. It makes no sense at all to have the heaviest womans weight division being called Featherweight. People should care who the champions are. It's the job of promoters to make them care. UFC will soon have 4 womens champions, at Strawweight, Flyweight, Bantamweight and Featherweight. It would be much easier for the casual fan to understand and easier to promote if they billed them as Featherweight, Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight. It's counterproductive to have Cris Cyborg, a big jacked up fearsome female fighter being billed as the Featherweight champion. If there's an argument against this (and not "nobody cares, it doesn't matter") I'd like to hear it.
