  1. I'm good with no more titles. I like the addition of an "undercard" women's title to balance things out a bit, but I don't see the need for anything else. Now, a women's tag title would be fine with me. Again, to balance things out. One thing that I always appreciated about 80's-early 90's WWF was that there were few titles, so winning one was very special. Now, titles are viewed as "everyone gets a turn!" I'm a fan of how AEW has handled their titles and their reigns so far. I don't want to see that change, personally. If you need something for your wrestlers to do, book them in compelling storylines. You don't have to have titles for that.
  2. I think I might have mentioned on here before, but my parents recently dropped off all of my old LJN WWF figures for my son (4). He's been playing with them non-stop. Recently, he's also been heavily into He Man, both the old series and the newer Netflix ones. I found the new retro He Man and Skeletor figures at Target and bought them for him. So now, we've had He Man vs. Macho Man and He Man vs. Andre among other matchups. Watching Dynamite last night, he asked about AEW figures. I told him they make them. He wants to get Moxley and Omega so he can do He Man/Moxley vs. Skeletor/Omega. Beat that, TK! Oh, on more of a downer note, this morning he was going through some of the WWF guys and saying how he'd like to see them wrestle live. I had to tell him that most of the guys he was picking out were not only not wrestling anymore, but they were dead. Sigh.
  3. I think the issue was that he threw out his front.
  4. I'm gonna start carrying around one of those padded mallet things from the Wack-a-mole machine to whack bigots with IRL. That would be fun.
  5. Have they "officially" announced the King of Harts Cup or whatever the thing they're going to name after Owen? I could see that being the announcement.
  6. I've seen a lot of people who'd like to see Hangman as the Joker (I'm one of them). It's pretty cool that people can get excited about the prospect of a surprise entrant being a current roster member. Another example of the deep bench that they've got in AEW.
  7. The wife is travelling for business this week, so it's just me and the kids. She's the best, so she usually lets me have the bigger tv to myself to watch. So, I've got to get stuff moving early in the evening so we can be settled by showtime. We're going to do breakfast for dinner and my daughter is making pancakes (she's really good at it!). Hopefully, we'll have a quick clean up and we'll be all set for the show. I've convinced my 4-year-old son that we REALLY need to watch this week, so he's willing to stop his non-stop He Man marathon that's been going on for a couple weeks to watch with me.
  8. This is just my own take, but I never considered it "selling out" if a band writes a song, it maybe gets popular or the right person hears it and they end up getting some money for it to be in a commercial. Now, if a band writes songs specifically for getting them in commercials or changes up their sound to appeal more to commercials or stuff like that, I think it is selling out.
  9. Cheech and Delaney are a regular team. They're actually really awesome together. I think they mainly work Beyond. I've really dug the stuff I've seen of them together.
  10. Well, it is a Chris Jericho program. That's how they go.
  11. Penelope's panicked face while she was getting choked out was a great touch.
  12. I thought there was something with Rude accidentally hitting Vader with a chair or vice-versa. Did that happen?
  13. What's Steen's connection to the Nightmare Factory?
  14. Britt has to have had one of the best years ever in wrestling. I don't just mean like good matches, but going from being very ok to becoming a huge star in a short amount of time.
  15. At some point, didn't they even plant the seeds for a Rude/Vader feud? It's sad that we never got to see a tough-guy face Rude run.
  16. It's like Eddie and Rey had a bunch of stuff they'd thought about doing, but never tried because the degree of difficulty was too high. But then they said "fuck it!" and just did them all in this match.
  17. My god, that it up there with the most "pro wrestling" images ever captured.
  18. Just as long as we don't get Big Show crying, then I'm ok with this.
  19. Speaking of Rhodes to the Top… https://www.instagram.com/tv/CUa3MCelpY4/?utm_medium=copy_link
  20. Reservation Dogs is an incredible, incredible show. I loved it so much. The way the season ended was perfect and works if the series only goes one season or if it continues.
  21. A friend of mine went to the Mall of America years ago, and his description has always stuck with me. He said it felt like being in a Flintstones' cartoon when they'd run and the background would just repeat behind them. He said he felt like he kept passing the same three stores over and over.
