Kyle Casey Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Okay, playing for third and I have a couple decisions to make: RB: Shane Vereen (@ BAL) or Gio Bernard (vs. MIN)? Based on matchups, I'm leaning towards Gio. On the other hand, with Gronk out, Brady seems to like using Vereen as another target (in week 14 he had 153 receiving yards and only 9 rushing yards). DEF: Kansas City (vs. IND) or Detroit (vs. NYG)? Indy seems to be struggling and KC's defense has served me well, but it is REALLY tempting to play to the matchup and start Detroit against the terribad Giants. Thanks!
Craig H Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I'm not playing Vereen this week based on how he was used last week. I played Vereen and left Rashad Jennings on my bench. Oops.
paragon11 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Yeah, I'm benching Vereen in my 3rd place matchup this week as well. Baltimore will likely find a way to contain him. Gio against a weak Vikings D is the smarter play IMO. Terry
elizium Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 With Jordan Cameron done, I managed to pick up D. Pitta (NE), Z. Ertz (CHI) and M. Lewis (TEN). Was actually surprised all 3 of them were still sitting on the wire. Heading into the championship game with Pitta starting, I think, but it scares me that I am so reliant on 2 Ravens offensive players (Torrey Smith is one of my WRs) to win a game.
twiztor Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 i only watched one game so far this season (cowboys @ philly) and won my league. i don't even follow football. how bad must everybody else suck?
