Raziel Posted September 21 Posted September 21 So.... Looks like Michigan is running Single Wing with Orji...

EVA Posted September 21 Posted September 21 5 minutes ago, Brian Fowler said: Why wasn't this just the offense all year? !!!!! That Davis Warren experiment will never make sense to me. Orji may not be able to throw a lick, but clearly Warren couldn’t either, and Orji’s strengths compliment the rest of the offense much better. Just by his presence, his legs can block an extra guy or even take a guy out if coverage.
EVA Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Elsewhere, it appears Hank Brown is not the answer at QB for Auburn after all. 3 interceptions in the first half vs. Arkansas. He’s on track to shatter Payton Thorne’s high score of 4 interceptions vs Cal.
Brian Fowler Posted September 21 Posted September 21 I'm not complaining, but why in the hell do teams throw at Will Johnson? Not only is he great, but Hill on the other side is pretty damn vulnerable. That blocked PAT might end up being big though.
Raziel Posted September 21 Posted September 21 That double fumble giving USC a new set of downs might be an issue.

Raziel Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Someone surely put that B1G commercial to the Game of Thrones theme, right?
Brian Fowler Posted September 21 Posted September 21 This is the point where last year Michigan would go on a 12 play, 7+ minute touchdown drive and kill the game.
Raziel Posted September 21 Posted September 21 This is what not having a replacement for Corum looks like
RIPPA Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Apparently JMU is the first team ever to be paid for a game and then drop 70 on their opponent

Don't know that they can win the Big Ten this way, but it beats the hell out of throwing three interceptions. I was worried late though. This is the kind of game that if they hadn't pulled off that last drive you start to worry about the defense splitting the locker room with anger over giving the offense so many chances to seal it.

I feel like this change takes Michigan from having a ceiling of 8 wins (and being in real danger on road trips to over-performing teams from I-states) to looking like a pretty solid 9-win team, with the potential to steal more wins if they’re able to control the game state like they did most of today.
EVA Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Speaking of splitting the locker room, Oklahoma is playing a hell of a game on defense, but the Sooner offense is absolutely ass. They may order a halftime Code Red on the damn quarterback.

EVA Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Well, this is much less fun to talk about, but it looks like FSU is going to win a game. Maybe. Theres still time. 1
Brian Fowler Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Texas is getting best case scenario. No challenge at all, but Arch isn't playing well enough to create any QB controversy.
SirFozzie Posted September 22 Posted September 22 (edited) What a crazy fucking pair of finishes in the Colorado Baylor game. You have to watch it to understand what I mean Edited September 22 by SirFozzie
