    No, the problem with the Reigns thing was that he claimed to be the best wrestler in the world right now. Straight up verbatim, no mention of "just in WWE" or whatever. I don't really have an opinion one way or another because I don't watch enough wrestling to have an opinion like that, and I think it's clearly a mixture of kayfabe and reality in that statement (mostly kayfabe). But that's the problem people had with it.

    What gets me are the fans that criticize other fans for only watching WWE, because they watch CMLL, NJPW, NOAH, AAA, Impact, various indies, Lucha Underground, PWG, etc. Who gives a fuck?

    This coming Friday (1/26) will be the 9th episode of Season 5. Four more episodes until #100.

    I'm pretty sure the highest grossing Jones headlined PPV was last year's against Cormier, and it did like 860K. FWIW, that doesn't even break the Top 20 in terms of highest buys for UFC events. But, maybe my internet detective skills are failing me.

    Hot 97 is a bigger deal than the Comedy Central XM radio station. If you can’t see that, I don’t know what to tell you. Sure, switch out Roberts for Soder if you need the XM radio boost, but everyone from Punk to Reigns to Bryan has been in the Hot 97 studio promoting the NY shows when they’re in the area. I imagine WWE giving Rosenberg a preshow gig is thanks for that, and because he’s a (lapsed) fan. Y’all out here acting like he’s commentating one of the main roster shows when all he does is Network/YouTube content for the company. 30-60 minutes before a RAW or PPV, and any other thing he does is a few minutes or a talking head spot. Him not knowing indie talent isn’t a big deal - plus he’s a self-admitted troll on Twitter who says shit just to get a rise out of people.

    Rosenberg and Roberts have radio shows (Ebro in the Morning & Jim/Sam on Sirius) that are used to promote WWE events and performers, though. I don’t think Dan Soder has a platform like that.

    Agents of SHIELD is doing a better Flashpoint than The Flash did. Seriously, this season is really good. And nobody on here cares, it's pretty sad.

    I just watched Get Out, and uh, wow. That took a turn that I wasn’t expecting towards the end. I’ll have more thoughts later, since I’m about to go to sleep, but that was really good.

    Of the first season? Yeah. I haven’t watched the second, but considering I wasn’t all that into the first, I figured I would either feel the same about this season or not like it at all. I mean, it’s funny enough, but it’s nothing special. That’s my opinion, obviously, this isn’t the only forum where people go nuts for that show.

    Not exactly a beacon of reliable news, but WrestlingInc says there's 8 matches in the tournament meaning 16 women are in the tournament (obviously). There's 3 matches this weekend at the TV taping for the tournament: Madison Rayne/Mandy Leon, Brandi Rhodes/Karen Q and Kelly Klein/Jessie Brooks.

    Kinda bummed out that I have to work on Saturday, and I just found out yesterday afternoon that they’re doing a TV taping in Nashville on that day. The first two or three matches of the Women’s tournament, and Cody and the Bucks live (plus a pretty cheap meet and greet + autographs). Damn you, adult life. What sucks is I could have taken off for that day too had I known about this in advance. Either I’m a bad wrestling fan for not knowing, or ROH sucks at local promotion. Maybe both. PS I don’t think Brandi wins the entire thing, but I think she’ll make it to the semi or the finals.

    Their tables are worse than the ones pro wrestling uses in the states (everywhere else?), but I think their chairs are safer than the ones everyone else uses. It's a trade off.

    Supercard has a daily challenge, two modes that are always running (Wild/Exhibition Mode & Money in the Bank) and weekly events (sometimes Team, sometimes solo). I dunno, I can only play so much Bejeweled, haha.

    Or have Braun win the title next weekend and have to defend it inside the Elimination Chamber (and then he picks up the entire cage and MDK's everyone).

    I'm only like 25 minutes into Big Little Lies and I already hate every single character except Shailene Woodley's. Oh my god.

    Supposedly Cody/Omega is going to happen at ROH's Supercard of Honor in April. I guess the Bullet Club split happens at the New Japan Long Beach show, then.

    I'm about to check out Black Lightning, but The Flash.... well, given that Barry was in the speed force for all of one episode, I wonder how long this'll last.

    WWE Mayhem is more fun than this game. But Supercard is more fun than both...

    Fan vote or not, I'm definitely surprised they let CM Punk get on that list.

    I lost my old copy years ago, but recently bought another of God's Debris: A Thought Experiment by Scott Adams. I read my older copy multiple times, and I loved it at the time and it's exactly how I remember it. It's pretty thought provoking, but I won't have time to go back through it any time soon because I also bought The Origins of Totalitarianism by Hannah Arendt and I'm really excited to get into it.
