JIN seems like it’s on hiatus or done. Happy to see Irie is in it, though. Tanaka, too, though Tajiri really sucks these days, so that detracts a bit. Sekimoto & Kobayashi is a strange team, though I guess they’re both the faces of their respective BJ divisions. Control
Imagine, if you will, a version of this tournament in which Iwamoto is replaced by Ayato Yoshida, and Tajiri by Yuji Hino. Tournament of the year, for sure.
BrianS81177
Really surprised to see Kobayashi in there as Sekimoto's partner instead of Okabayashi.

I'm guessing he's carrying on the legacy of Abdullah the Butcher since Abby was such a star for them.
Control
Hopefully the tournament leads to either a Sekimoto or Tanaka TC challenge.

Yuji has wrestled only 1 match for All Japan this year when they had the Atsushi Aoki Memorial show. In 2019, he only worked 13 matches for them. I'm guessing that he like BJW better. Control
I think Brian's comment has more to do with the fact that Sekimoto and Okabayashi are the traditional Strong BJ team, and Sekimoto and Kobayashi are in different divisions and team--never? Control
Masato Tanaka was tweeting that it’s been 18 years since his last tag league. I’d forgotten Tanaka was once an AJPW regular.

Control
Zeus is out of the tournament. Says he’s feeling fine but is still positive for corona. Replaced by Izanagi. Shit. The auto translate on this tweet made me lol. Edited November 17, 2020 by Control

Spontaneous
Through first two shows I thought Violent Giants vs Enfants Terribles and Team BJPW vs Miyahara/Aoyogi are the best two matches.
Curt McGirt
I was taken at just how huge Ishikawa is. I thought Suwama was a big dude, but damn. And of course there's Abby Jr. doing absolutely as much with absolutely as little as he can. Spoiler And both of the surprise underdog wins! Those two might make a really fun match if the brackets work that way.

Spontaneous
It's been fairly mediocre. Hoping the last few nights are solid at least. Team Yoshi vs Miyahara/Aoyogi was fun and I liked Jake Lee getting into with SUWAMA after their match. Team ECW is bad and Team BJPW has been tough at times too. I wish Tanaka had a different partner or we got some weird team of like Sekimoto/Tanaka clubbing people.

Spontaneous
Final was excellent, worth going out of your way for. I'd have been happy with either team winning. Undercard was what it was. Team BJPW-Violent Giants was ok, I enjoyed it for what it was. I don't understand the booking of Enfant Terribles. Tajiri was easily the low light of the tournament. I'll give Izanagi MVP of the tournament, he gave good effort every night. Replacing the champion carnival winner is no small feat!
