EVA
Welp, the freshman ran out of magic. Oklahoma moves to the front of the line to take Georgia’s seat if they lose today.

And the fact that he has a better chance of making the BCS playoff this year than the person who replaced him. Although he would have to win in Oklahoma to equal him in titles
Brian Fowler
Those poor Baylor kids are going to be haunted by this season forever. Blow the big lead to Oklahoma for their only loss in season, and then make their own comeback in the rematch only to lose in OT. That's gonna sting. Michigan/Alabama is about as attractive of a matchup a midtier bowl could ask for. Teams with huge fanbases, has national followings, and they haven't played since the 2012 opener. Haven't played in a bowl game since Tom Brady was in Maize and Blue. And, just for fun, they are tied all-time at 2 wins each.

hammerva
Georgia is a wide open dropped pass from being blown out of this half. And now Fromm looks hurt on that sack

hammerva
They could have Matt Stafford at QB but if Burrow is going to get so much time in the pocket they have no chance. He could make a call and still throw the ball on most of his plays

EVA
With georgia’s loss and Oklahoma’s playoff spot app but assured, Jalen Hurts has QB’ed his team to the playoffs 4 straight years.
Niners Fan in CT
LSU, OU and Ohio St. Are in. Clemson in with a win. Looks like they will get it. If they don't maybe Wisconsin can leap them.
Brian Fowler
LSU with a strong case to jump back to number 1 and avoid Clemson in the first round.
hammerva
Yeah I would avoid Clemson like the plague in the semis. Oklahoma is tough as hell but I don't think their defense can handle either Ohio State or LSU Well Ohio State didn't come to play tonight. Especially on defense Edited December 8, 2019 by hammerva

Brian Fowler
Well, the excitement tonight was short-lived. Good God Ohio has shut down the running game in the second half.

Tabe
I don't see the argument for LSU at #1 over Ohio. Ohio has more top 25 wins, won them by a much larger margin, had a higher opponent winning % - and didn't play an FCS school. I'm not impressed by LSU beating Georgia, a paper tiger at 11-1 for sure. Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan and Minnesota all would best Georgia.
EVA
LOL @ Michigan beating Georgia. I know you watched enough Michigan games to know better. Edited December 8, 2019 by EVA
Niners Fan in CT
I think the top of the SEC is still better than most of the top of the B1G so I would have LSU #1. I think Ohio St. is excellent but I also think LSU would roll most of the teams they beat.
EVA
If there was a paper tiger in the Top 10, it was Penn State, who struggled mightily with every decent team they played but managed to eek out enough wins against solid but overvalued teams like Iowa and Michigan to hang around. would likely finish 6th in SEC. Brian Fowler
I think this was the easiest and most obvious both field and seeding we've ever had in the CFP.
EVA
Once again, the committee gets the top 4 right, and everything works out in such a way that adding any additional teams to the playoff would be superfluous. Like clockwork.
