piranesi
Given how cute she was with the little rabbit doesn't anyone think they should do a whole big project with Melissa McCarthy and puppets? Anyone???? 2
Brian Fowler
Poor Amy Adams. It would be less cruel to just stop nominating her all the time.
Execproducer
She's good and all but I can't think of any year where she was robbed. Best Supporting in 2008 was probably her best case.

Hoping Christian Bale takes it. Best Actress: Olivia Coleman. Tight race between her, Glenn Close and Lady Gaga. Can see Close sneaking it. Best Supporting Actor: Mahershala Ali. Best Supporting Actress: Regina King. Amy Adams misses out once more. Best Director: Alfonso Cuaron. Hope Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse doesn't fall at the final hurdle for Best Animated Feature. It should have cracked the Best Picture nominees as well. 6/7 from my predictions. I'll take that. I wanted Christian Bale to win Best Actor. Feel for Glenn Close going 0-7, Amy Adams' 0 for 6. No doubt but as a perennial nominee it's probably just a matter of time. I doubt the Academy wants their own Susan Lucci.

John from Cincinnati
Thanks for posting that and reminding me: Whoever raked McDormand over the coals for bringing up inclusion riders can fuck off forever.

John from Cincinnati
Since jewelry was a topic of conversation in my circle tonight (generally, and specifically with regards to Gaga), here's what she's reported to have had around her neck: The Tiffany Diamond, one of the largest yellow cut diamonds in the world Weighs over 128 carats Last worn by Audrey Hepburn in a publicity shot for Breakfast at Tiffany's Estimated value of at least $30 million She rolls deep.

Execproducer
I'll be the first to admit that I couldn't pick a Lady Gaga song out of a line-up. But I did listen to the A Star is Born soundtrack and am thinking that maaaaaaybe my old ass should delve further. Am I wrong?

Her early stuff is pretty much pure bubble gum pop with a bit of weirdness on the top. Joanne was really stripped down and closer to the A Star is Born material. 3
