Rivers brings a bunch of chunky offense and unorthodoxish mat stuff and basically works like Dick Murdoch and Stan Hansen had a baby. Savio Vega is fucking awesome. I meant to sign up last week just to say thanks for posting this. I loved this match. Super old school WWC vibe right here. I lived in Puerto Rico for about a year and never got around to going to any WWC or IWA shows. My former San Juan roommate is now neighbors with Eric Escobar. I'd like to think we'd be buddies if I was still living there. I look forward to watching KENTA vs Yone as well. I used to love Yone's matches but haven't kept up too much with NOAH in recent years. Dean, if you want more enormous Brits against smaller guys, you may enjoy this six-man with Cyanide teaming up with the Henchmen. The face team are a bit milky (curiously only the smallest guy, Ho Ho Lun, has any idea how to make offence on bigger guys look credible), but watching nearly 1000lbs of men heeling it up is pretty fun. This is a pretty clever tables match as you would assume as these two are pretty great. ---------------------- DIAMOND RING- SUWAMA/ KENTO MIYAHARA/ TAKAO OMORI vs JUN AKIYAMA/ KENSUKE SASAKI/ GO SHIOZAKI- 8/31/2013: Goddam, this match is STIFF AS FUDGE. It's a fun early 90's All Japan 6-man throwback- Akiyama assuming the roll of aging, angry bastard Jumbo Tsuruta and Kento Miyahara taking the ass-beating of one cast for the Kikuchi part. Everybody else brings the ass-stomp like fucking MONSTERS. At 29:40, Takao Omori does the coolest thing he has ever done in a wrestling match.
