Death From Above
No surprise after the Skyrim update a few months back, but I'm not looking forward to having my mod collection break.
Kevin Wilson
About time, I've been holding off my re-play for at least a year waiting for the next gen update. My backlog is too deep right now to dive right into it day 1 but I'm looking forward to playing it again, its been awhile.
Craig H
I spent so many hours replaying it when I got notified I was being layed off and basically had nothing to do for 3 months. I can't see myself sinking a ton more time into it again, but it should be good for a bunch of new players coming to it after watching the series.
Casey
It’s working out pretty well for them, since every currently available Fallout game is experiencing either its all-time player count or just more active than they’ve been in years. It’ll be real shitty if the next-gen update wipes progress and makes you start a new game, though. Apparently that’s what happened with Skyrim and the Anniversary edition.
Death From Above
I never did get whatever the fuck was going on with my Skyrim mods post-upgrade sorted out, I just walked away lol
Craig H
*looks at all the bugs and issues with the next gen update Bugs and Bethesda games…bugs and Bethesda games never changes.
Robert C
It's funny. I've been really lucky with bugs for the last three Bethesda games. I got the usual ones - side quests that won't close, flying mammoths, etc. But nothing serious. The only Fallout game I had real problems on was New Vegas, which was nearly unplayable due to constant lag. This update is something else, though. Anything less than 95% hit chance in VATS is almost certainly gonna miss. 95% is maybe 50/50. Can't see indoors, since the lighting is almost nonexistent. Kevin Wilson
What's funny is I knew the VATS was broken but paid it no mind and have been plugging through the game anyway. I probably just waste too much ammo due to that, I'm even running low on 10mm and that's my backup ammo. I wouldn't complain if they fixed it though.
