Elsalvajeloco Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 What's surprising is they haven't even really hyped him being on television. They did more for Sarafian vs. Strasser Kunimoto than Faber vs. Caceres. Faber is perhaps the biggest star (doesn't mean a whole lot but you get my point) below 155 that isn't named BJ Penn and Caceres is actually ranked at BW for the moment. That is really weird.
smitlick Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I'd even go so far as to argue its a far bigger fight than Struve/Mitrione
Guest Edwin Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 It's a bigger fight than anything on the main card except the co-main and main itself.
epwar Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 All his life is no surrender... Obligatory video post for Kevin Casey's win. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc2N2TiKI3o 2
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 I haven't seen something like that since Miguel Cotto TKO'd and subsequently retired Justin Juuko.
smitlick Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Roop is done surely... Embarrassing Also that Casey video is amazing. Didn't see the fight. Hopefully that's his walkout music though?
Guest Edwin Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Have been watching from Santos/Camozzi onward and suddenly I am remembered why I haven't watched any of the last couple UFC FN cards.
Guest Edwin Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 DC tonight tells you exactly how interesting some of these prelims have been:
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 Mike Bohn @MikeBohnMMA 4m RT @SportsCenter: "Stefan Struve blacked out in the locker room. Has elevated heart rate and is out of the fight. I'd never risk his health"
epwar Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Wow, nothing like a "three judges see it entirely different" decision to remind you that, yes, you are watching MMA.
Ace Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Having had to perform after having panic attacks, I wouldn't wish anybody to have to fight after one. Jeepers.
Guest Edwin Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 “Official result: Urijah Faber def. T.J. Dillashaw by submission at 1:09 of the third round”Source: http://msn.foxsports.com/ufc/story/ufc-175-weidman-vs-machida-live-fight-blog-070514
Joe Lucia Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Yeah, he didn't finish, but...OH MY GOD URIAH HALL'S TOE WHAT THE HELL
Guest Edwin Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I hadn't realized Uriah had a broken toe until after the fight. I don't think Rogan or Goldberg mentioned it on commentary or the cameraman didn't really try to focus on it.
Elsalvajeloco Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 Yeah we gonna keep all Hall toe gifs/pics in the spoiler tags. Enjoy your night.
goodhelmet Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Edwin, they focused on it during the entire timeout between rounds 1 and 2. That was sick.
epwar Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 So how quickly does Dana announce Ronda headlining UFC 176?
Guest Edwin Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Alexis Davis entrance was a lot longer than the fight itself.
goodhelmet Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Oh my bad. Anyway, I turned my head during the Rousey fight and missed it. Fuck, had to watch the replay.
Joe Lucia Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Just when you think Rousey can't get more dominant...
