  1. I'm hangin on, awesome! Thought I had bombed myself with Pirates and was out of this long ago.
  2. Dug the Drew/Roode segment a lot. Both come off like mega stars from entrances on and deliver very solid promos. Great big fight feel.
  3. Agreed opening tag was awesome. Love Marufuji's theme. Fun street fight and another real good super X cup match. Good six man main event as well. Definitely looking forward to next week's stacked lineup. Also amusing that Tyrus's tron video still has the "#tryrussmash" spelling.
  4. Very surprising, thought they were clearly going for Miz/Jordan on the show.
  5. My favorite crowd of the year thus far. Massive pop for Brock in the opening seg was cool then finally drowning out bayley with the boos. Love it. Whole thing seemed unnecessary anyways. Alexa/Sasha was what SummerSlam always should've been in the first place, building off last month's inconclusive ending rather than going backwards in feuds. The three ways were both fun but short. Sucked that Emma had to take the fall as usual but thought she looked great in the time given, the other being a solid Nia showcase where she just smashed both. Really liked the Ambrose/Cesaro match, they got a ton of time and had lots of cool spots throughout. Rollins being a dick afterwards made no sense after earlier asking Dean what he had to do to get him to accept him plus the crowd was actually super hot for the fist bump tease so it felt like the right time to just go ahead and do it. Awesome main event of course. Braun's chair toss being the definite highlight. Most I've overall enjoyed Raw in awhile.
  6. Love the closing angle as well. The build to Mundo/Mysterio has been fantastic in coming off like a real big time match.
  7. Good stuff from EC3 vs Moose tonight. Kongo's rampage was fun with Laurel's antics throughout. Enjoyed the LAX/Patron Family main event, cool ending shot with Low Ki officially joining LAX. Destination X seems to be shaping up nicely.
  8. Jenny debuted in 2010 after training at the dojo in 09 when Daizee Haze was heavily involved, I don't think Mandy debuted til 2014. I've always liked what I've seen of Jenny since she started. Haven't seen as much of Mandy but I remember liking one of her matches with Taeler Hendrix, hadn't seen this latest match yet.
  9. Wyatt vs. Balor in the likely camp as well. I'd imagine Rollins/Ambrose in the tag mix. Potentially loaded stacked show.
  10. Great main event with a big time feel. Hoped they would get a little more time for this kind of first time ever dream match but it was pretty fast paced throughout. I hope Corbin's not cashing in right away if Nakamura wins. Guessing Cena's going to be gone again now and won't be working SummerSlam with what looks like already 10-12 possible matches lined up. Not getting the rumored Shane/Owens match but still getting Shane involvement, so maybe as mentioned above they'll hold off until Hell in a Cell unless they changed direction again on another Shane match. Gable looked great against Rusev, very good little match and a fun quick women's tag as well.
  11. Amazing end to the rivalry. Felt bad for DC, but happy for Jones to have his moment and speech. Great to see Cyborg finally UFC champ and cool to see Evinger make it to round 3. Volkan looking killer again. Loved the Albu/Curran fight. Fun stuff from Lawler/Cerrone as well. Good show
  12. Some good stuff tonight, especially in the first half. Fun opening six man that got a lot of time. Very solid Davey/Ishimori match. Enjoyed Davey's run in Impact. Sienna/Rosemary was awesome with some wild spots like the AK47 drop off the apron and the finishing bump looked absolutely brutal, both women rule. Looking forward to Lashley/Sydal, that has potential to be a fantastic match.
  13. My thought as well, mind boggling and the low point of an otherwise very solid show. Figured he'd easily slide in to an upper midcard role similar to Miz. Would much rather watch him than ever see any of the other three in that match again, but it seems most are sour on him. I dunno, still loved his Impact run and his current theme music. Great to see Jericho back, awesome opening segment and main event. Already felt like he'd been gone much longer than he had been. Was hoping it would mean he was working SummerSlam but guessing it's one and done for now.
  14. It was originally called the "What's Up", then when he turned heel it became the "Shut Up", later in the turn it would simply become known as "The Little Jimmy" before in recent years quietly returning to the original Whats Up name. Huge fan of that Orton/Christian match. My favorite match in their series. Been meaning to rewatch it sometime. Always loved the crowd seeming like a legit 50/50 split. Awesome face v. face match.
  15. THE GREAT KHALI! I love that the return of the Punjabi Prison summoned it's creator. I thought the match was pretty fun and look forward to Khali w/ the Singh Bros as the Modern Day Maharaja's stable. Enjoyed most of the show and dug some different finishes/outcomes. Usos/New Day was great as usual. Natalya winning was unexpected but I welcome the change. Tamina/Lana working together throughout was fun until they got bounced early, solid match with a fast pace. The one thing I did hate was jobbing out Mike Kanellis that quick and clean in his first PPV match. That sucked. Felt the preshow match was maybe the least interesting match to me ever put in that spot since they started the preshows, but I ended up actually not hating it surprisingly. Usually have zero interest in either guy but the match was fairly decent. Surprised to see Owens regain the US that quick. Definitely thought it was going to be a double pin draw type.
  16. I thought Bennett had good to very good matches against a variety of opponents in TNA and think he will excel in WWE eventually when he gets to do more. In my opinion, there's certainly worse and more boring just on SDL alone. This may have been his best and I remember it receiving praise from most who saw it.
  17. Awesome triple threat w/ Sydal/Ki/Fantasma with some creative spots, loved the finish. Sienna looked great as usual. Opener and main events were both pretty good but short. Guevara's 630 was cool.
  18. Damn, terrible news. Always enjoyed Linkin Park, especially those first two albums with hit after hit and still lots of good ones in recent years. RIP
  19. Agreed on all the love for Ruby/Ember. Thought Ruby looked fantastic and Ember her best in NXT thus far. Still unsure of Ember beating Asuka but I think this helped make it a bit more easy to accept. Dug the big fight feel in the entrances for Drew/Dain, solid main event.
  20. Saw a rumor that Jessica James would be included so got excited briefly for the local rep, disappointed she nor Barbi Hayden made it after all (or Delilah Doom since WWE used her in the past) Also disappointed/surprised that Deonna Purazzo and Nicole Matthews aren't locked in, especially Deonna. On the other hand, thrilled to see Serena Deeb out of retirement for this. Her post-WWE pre-injury 2010-2011 indy run was fantastic and she was one of the absolute best around. Was a shame her WWE run didn't last so glad to see her get a shot here even if it's a one-off type thing. Gonna hope to remain spoiler free but it sucks that this isn't airing for so long from now.
