I remember Bobby really into Ted Dibiase, Rick Martel and IRS.... usually every match. -
Bradshaw always looked ridiculous with armbands over his bicep, especially when tagging with Ron Simmons. Dude had no definition whatsoever.

Sweet Surrender

Odessa, you shut your filthy mouth, sir...no one disparages nor sullies the name of Bill Mercer or Marc Lowrance! They voiced the Major Leagues of professional wrestling! For a brief time on WCW Main Event, Dusty Rhodes and Randy Savage called color...at the same time. It was glorious.

I seem to recall Nash saying something to the effect of, "Jake in the trunk is a better wheelman than Scott." The Jake he was referring to was Jake Roberts, lol.
-
Not only was Jeff Gaylord unable to wrestle or rob banks, he couldn't pose, either.
-
Also don't forget the fact that poor Irwin's unfiled paperwork and non-deposited petty cash scattered in the wind. Those Haliburton's aren't cheap!
-
If? I thought he did? That was such a punk move acting like he was Bret's friend just to provoke a title match.
-
Yep...every WCW fig I purchased from Toys R Us had Hulk Hogan on the receipt....

Ok, what's the Surv-Series equivalent of Vader and Los Brazos?

The Baron looks like a church deacon from back home when I was a kid. Greg Valentine looks like the Pastor's oldest kid who was busted for coke. And this man is wondering who stole his preferred belt accessory along with its backup.

YEP! I also hate how after a win everyone slowly walks backwards up the ramp in order to stare at the fallen opponent who is just coming to consciousness. By the time they reach the top of the ramp, they will lock eyes. Just walk back to the locker room.- 62 replies

Regarding what was posted earlier, I was CERTAIN that Foley & Austin were going to be the new millennium version of Monsoon & Ventura.- 62 replies

From a kayfabe perspective...the point of a match is to pin your opponent. TO WIN. Not go out and have a "moment" or "entertain." Your moment is when the ref raises your hand in victory, schmuck.- 62 replies

JOHNNY SUCKS SHANE'S COCK on a giant wrap around sign in Philly is #1 and the best.

Written promos are the worst.

Just now watching the first Nitro from Feb 1996. The show starts off with a World Title match: Randy Savage vs. Christ Benoit. Elizabeth and Woman at ringside. How depressing. Post-match schmozz, Hogan is cutting a promo, facing the corner camera, and Mean Gene is warning him to turn around (Ric Flair Pearl Harbor's him with brass knucks)...he says, "I'm talking, brother!" Hulkster really is an intolerable A-hole babyface during this time period. He doesn't even listen to his friends.

Taker and Michelle McCool? Edit: Beat me to it.

Nitro Episode 99: "Macho Man, good luck tonight, I know your entourage of beautiful ladies are going to blow Ric Flair right out of this building, brother!"
-
Man, watching these late 95/early 96...and even from a kayfabe standpoint, Hogan was a real A-Hole. No other babyface can ever have a moment in the spotlight.
