Yeah, but if you look at the best competitive teams, lot of their players play for the same domestic teams (shit, Spain is the best National Team in the world, and 3/4th's of the team play on Barcalona). We have 2 good teams and 17 mediocre teams in MLS now. We're gonna go to 2 good teams and 22 shit teams just because Garber wants more money? Overexpansion killed the NASL for years, and is hurting the arguably hurting the NBA now. the MLS doesn't need more teams, it needs to attract better players to make better teams to make it better to watch.

So, in the midst of yet another year of the MLS "All-Stars" getting getting their asses kicked mid-US Season by yet another Euro Club team playing their Pre-Season (AS Roma this time), Heir Garber announces plans to expand MLS to 24 teams by 2020. Hey Garber, why not, I dunno, MAKE THE FUCKING 19 WE ALREADY HAVE ACTUALLY ATTRACTIVE TO OUR TOP PLAYERS?!?!?! Whislt our best player plays for the MLS, at least over half of our prespective WC squad plays outside the US. That's a problem. That's what needs fixing. Maybe not make MLS a fucking has been/never will be League? Talent is spread thin enough as it is, adding 5 more teams isn't gonna help, but hey, Garber can't turn down $25 mil a pop in franchise fees.

That's fucking insane. Only Messi or Ronaldo are worth that much, not Bale. Shit, Real dropped £80M on Ronaldo 5 years go. EDIT: Also, Mexico announced today that de la Torre is safe, for now. That is, unless Mexico fails to qualify for the WC. If Mexico didn't fire him after not reaching the GC Final, they'll keep him if he at least makes the playoff for the WC berth.

Ryan was good, but didn't have the loads of outstanding assistants that Reid had. Vermeil was good as well, being the only other Coach that brought us to the SuperBowl, but he wasn't around long enough to cement a good HC legacy in Philly. Yes, Reid was the best, and most successful, HC the Eagles ever had. Yeah Ryan brought us to the playoffs a lot, but Reid hung a lot of banners in The Linc. Now, like I said, with Reid's massive decline in recent years, his success could've been all due to a crop of excellent assistant coaches (especially Johnson, who until he died had the Eagles as one of the best Defenses in the League). Much as Eagles fans hate Reid for the last few years of mediocrity, he drug the team out of the deep pit that the combination of Kotite/Rhodes inflicted on us.

Megashark vs. Crocosaurs staring Jaleel White pretty much broke my brain it was so bad. Manos: The Hands of Fate remains unwatchable without the MST3K crew. Dark Knight Rises might be one of the worst Big Budget movies I've ever seen. I don't get what was so special about Brokeback Mountain.
