  1. She's only 41! Almost Famous came out 15 years ago!
  2. The other day, this girl came into the shop who looked just like Fairuza Balk. And I was going to say to her she looked like Fairuza Balk, but then I realised she was far too young to have known who Fairuza Balk was. So I said nothing. What happened to Fairuza Balk? Was the last film she made that anyone watched seriously Almost Famous?
  3. Dean Ambrose did DIRTY DEEDS to me. I kissed Santino's Cobra. Bray Wyatt Sister Abigailed me. That sentence barely makes sense in context. To anyone who doesn't watch wrestling, that's just a bunch of random words. It might as well say Butter Raspberry Trampoline Teacup me. His finish is Gail Kim's Eat Defeat. But he calls it Lost in the Woods.
  4. It looks more 'Inspired by' than 'Based on', although it pretty much always was going to be. The comics were basically unfilmable. Good cast though. Very British (Cooper & Gilgun) & Irish (Negga).
  5. Titus takes videogames seriously. Very seriously.
  6. Law enforcement agencies the world over have fallen in love with the concept of the paedophile ring. Why, I don't know. But they think having an unhealthy attraction to small children (and the willingness to act upon it) automatically makes a person want to join a sexual mafia-type organisation.
  7. My cat killed a couple of bats once. Where I used to live, there were lots of roofs of different heights and she could climb on all of them, so I think she got on the highest rooftop and crouched down, making herself seem part of the environment, and then when a bat flew over low, upward pounce and kill. They looked like tiny mice with wings. You don't get them big ones in the UK much.
  8. Well, they didn't want to introduce pay to win exactly, but they wanted to have something expensive in the game that could give you a competitive advantage... so people would pay for it, to win. I'm surprised they haven't de-nerfed tanks yet. It made sense at first, when they were next to impossible to kill, but now there's a four/five seater with more armour, I think it's time Tanks became unkillable again. You can snipe people in Insurgents though. If they're stupid enough to sit still, or if you're very lucky. I once sniped a guy in the arm as he was holding a sticky out the window and it killed him.
  9. That was Homicide: Life on the Street, not The Wire. Richard Belzer appearing as Detective Munch in five different shows in one week. Although he did later play Munch in The Wire as well, so it probably counts.
  10. Sayama worked the UK circuit on his NJPW gap year. His name was Sammy Lee. Here he is:
  11. Terminator's finishing move is... the Burning Hammer?
  12. It's a World of Sport sequence. Although most British Wrestlers would get the drop toe hold on the first spin.
  13. I'm in England But I'm semi-nocturnal and basically run on American time.
  14. What system are you on, Shylock? Because you've access to expert crewmates on every machine (except PC I think). On PS3, PetrolCB strolls through heist finales (on hard) with his eyes closed at this point, and I'm a Platinummer. XBox 360 is a little short because everyone went to the One except Melraz. PS4 has Cristobal, who's good all round except for being a coward in deathmatches. Don't know if Havoc still plays, but he's a top guy too. XBone is the most stacked with DVDVR crew.
  15. You're on PS3, right? I could jump on multiplayer if you need backup. You can get your readiness above the green line without doing anything on multiplayer. But it's a lot easier if you've done the online maps, because if you get an online character to level 20 (which isn't hard) you can upload them to your offline galaxy at war and make them a war asset... and that's before you improve the basic 50% galactic readiness. I like to be Krogans. Although my best character is probably the Salarian Engineer... I've got an N7 Paladin I've done nothing with. And I'm wierdly terrible with the Omni-Bow guy.
  16. Completed Max Payne 3 on medium. Don't imagine I'll be trying to complete it again on hard, very hard, or very very hard short time limit no health mode. It's... not as bad as I thought it would be after my first session. But it's not... when you think of games made by Rockstar, there's a level of quality they have. And Max Payne 3 is below par on those terms. There's just not that much to it, it's just a shooter and nothing else. I also ran through the Saint's Row 3 DLCs I hadn't done before. They're awfully short. You can see why they decided to make SR4 a complete different game, once they realised it would take more than 20 minutes to play through the whole thing.
  17. The version of the Nash story I heard had him faking a heart attack to get out of jobbing to the Giant. Who was going to finish him with a Moonsault.
  18. I'm pretty sure that he said, "Shiz", cause Neville's down like that. I was thinking he said "shit" but with the combination of his accent, his attempt at rapping, and that he may have had apple in his mouth (one really negative on show) the censors couldn't figure it out. According to the subtitles, he said "Shizz".
  19. If you count their matches in North America, that three different continents. Not too many promotions ran shows in Africa or South America, even WWE only made it there in the last decade. Are there really no 2008 RAWs on the network? I wanted to watch Regal's KOTR tournament.
  20. I thought it was already established that everyone who watches NXT is a brony so the leap that everyone who likes New Day is one too isn't that far. What's a Brony? Is it like a Jabronie, only unemployed?
  21. I played Fire Pro D on my Dreamcast all the time. You just needed a swap disc to make it play non region specific games.
