It's another bizarre season in Chicago. Despite our pitiful 2-6 record, we're actually 2-1 in the division.

I totally agree, that's why I specifically said it was the Batgirl/Paris story that I actually enjoyed.

I'm mad late to the party, but I finally watched "The Killing Joke." I actually liked the Batgirl/Paris Franz story, with him being in her head and making her doubt herself. They just did a really half-assed job at trying to connect it to the main story. But, by their own admission, their only goal was to lengthen the film.

If Hoyer keeps this up, then Cutler may never come back!

The way that Cris and Al kept bringing up that Forte and Gould were let go for making too much money, it makes me even more certain/hopeful that Da Bears will be bidding farewell to Cutler after the season.

I'd be very surprised if, barring some sort of miracle resurgence, that Cutler is around next season anyway. How many times has his age been brought up, and the fact that nobody is left on the team that was there when he started? But, unfortunately, we've seen just how bad Da Bears have been without him, look at the disaster that was week three last season with Jimmy Clausen. I'm figuring that, no matter how Cutler's thumb is doing, that Brian Hoyer is starting on Sunday night. If Cutler is healed up enough, and Hoyer chokes, then Cutler is back on 10/2 for sure.

Last season, the Bears were making fourth quarter comeback wins. This season, we're blowing our lead in the third quarter.

They gave up 37, but still put up 31, so it doesn't look like the problem was with the offense.

Does Rex make it until the end of the season before he gets shit-canned?

OU is shutting out ULM 42-0 going into halftime. After their meltdown in the second half last week, Bob must have given them one hell of a pep talk and/or ass chewing!

As a fan of the Chicago Bears, I would also like to see this happen.

It was a nice back and fourth game for the first half, but OU has been having a meltdown since the third quarter.

I sort of did, given how NJPW can never seem to give him any sort of sustained push. I was thinking that he'd win the whole thing, and *THEN* Kojima would turn on him, since he took his spot.

I can understand them keeping the scores so close, since there are so many shows being run in this year's tournament. But, it's making the Tenzan fanboy in me worried. I figure he's definitely going to be SANADA and Fale, and 50/50 that he beats Goto, and the best I see with Tanahashi is draw.

I'll have to give that one a whirl if I can find it up here. I've had Sam Adams Got to Gose, and the Southern Tier Cherry Gose, and neither did much of anything for me.

That'd be a great way to beat one of the top guys, to keep him out of the finals, without having him do a clean job.

I was curious if Sanada had improved at all over the last couple of years, since he used to routinely disappoint me with his work in All Japan. But, if he can't even have a good match with Okada, then I think I have the answer.
