Del Toro Interview on Justice League Dark: Now, this I would be behind, because of Del Toro's talent and because yes, it's supposed to be dark to begin with. That said, I do hope that they'd be able to find time for some over the top stage show flair for Zatanna and not just have her be a witch under siege or what not as well as some bleak humor from Constantine and the daredevil aspect of Deadman and what not. There can still be some wonder even in the midst of the darkness.

I really like the stage stuff, to be honest. I mean, I get that it's not good from a narrative level, but I get a kick out of watching their reactions to things and who stands with who and what not. It was really fun to me, for instance, that Zeb was WAY back in the Gorilla position for some reason..

I'm not big on authority figures, but Sheriff Orndorff would be pretty great. There was also this amazing moment where Piper's music hit and Khali was in the way so he had to move. The camera cuts in on him suddenly, though, and you wonder why the hell Khali's coming down to piper's music. And hell, back to Orndorff. The shit eating grin on his face as Brock was staring down Hogan was great. As was him going back for three divas kisses.

I never mentioned this anywhere else but this note seems safe for it: I swear when watching 2014 Casas matches, you can sometimes see him trying to direct the camera to where he wants it to be from inside the ring.

The Rockers MSG match happens after that as does I think, the six man with Warrior and LOD. Either are better than that Summerslam match, which is middling at best.

I had reason to watch another match on the card and found this. If this is Borne, and according to the WON at the time and what I can tell from a quick glance it is, I am so really excited to watch this. Fuerza and evil Doink is the best possible tag team that the world has ever created.

I've seen other Mando. Like.. uh.. Memphis Mando? LA Mando? Where the hell else have I seen Mando? I have no idea. But I know I saw enough to hate the guy. At least a couple of territories over a span of years. I will watch more Mando at some point though but not during hector day.

This is a trick to get me a timeout, isn't it? what I'll say about this is basically the very most frustrating thing about ALL of this, is that looking at the COOL THINGS MARVEL IS DOING list there, looks a fuck ton lot like what DC was doing in 2004 before everything went to hell. Awesome family-driven fun hispanic Blue Beetle. Super smart and super fun Manhunter comic where she was a prosecutor. Rucka doing AMAZING things with Wonder Woman. Batwoman debuting in 52. ETC. Batman Begins was just in production in 04 with the guy who did Memento and I don't remember if they announced Singer for Superman yet, but obviously that seemed like an amazing choice after X2. We were in Post Identity Crisis DC so it wasn't all sunshine and giggles or anything, but it was a balance and parts of it were just amazing, especially compared to the decompressed Millar-driven bullshit Marvel was putting out, which was 100% Frank Miller and Watchmen inspired. That inversion is part of what makes all of this so frustrating.

No way. Mando could never have the Backlash Kane match. Never in a million years. He's the gooniest wrestler I've ever seen when it comes to trying to make himself look good and his opponents look terrible. I'm not even sure who I think is worse with that? With Brody, he just acts lazy and no-sells. With Mando, you get the impression he'd work six times harder just to make everyone around him look like asses. Every match with him is Summerslam Michaels vs Hogan, just with him bouncing around the ring on offense more.

Mando is the worst.
